Yeah we get a couple going on usually in the beginning of the year. Bart hall show (formally known as Fred hall show) and pacific coast sport fishing show. I haven’t been to the pacific coast show but may attend to check it out next month.

It’s definitely been a long while. Haven’t fished since last August. It’s been a rough 2023/24. Just lost my dad a few weeks ago so it’s been pretty tough. Slowly getting back into the flow of things. Just booked a trip to mammoth during the opener, hope to see you out there. Thanks for checking in on us. Are you planning on fishing the opener?

Hey brotha, yeah it’s been awhile. Actually been going through some tough times in 2023/24. My dad just past away a few weeks ago so it’s been really hard on me lately. Just taking it day by day. Hope all is well with you and the family. I usually use a 1/8oz drop shot weight and the distance between the baits really depend on how deep the water your fishing is. Typically I separate the 2 baits about a foot+ apart.

@ExploreNaturesCatch brother, sooo sorry about pops. I know it's sad with the highest compassion for dad.. I miss mine I lost my pops at 13 yrs old ..im 58 now praise GOD I'm still here along with my 6 kids ,13 grand kids and 1 great grand kid lol what a blessing..I ll pray for y'all and for peace in you're hearts just do what pops would want you to do.."the right things for the wonderful wife of a fishing partner (very supportive)that's cool ..and that beautiful bundle of life you to brought to this world...keep it up brother one day I'll get to meet y'all and do so.e fishing ..just got back from bishops derby .doing some solos to the sierras in June and yosemite in August. Thank you bro, sorry for your loss as well. Just have to keep moving forward and cherish all the time I did have with him. We just booked a trip to mammoth for the opener yesterday so finally going to go fishing again. Hope to see you out there. How did the derby go? Which lakes did you fish?

@ExploreNaturesCatch I fished the dam on Friday go skunked (first time there ) then on Saturday I fished the lower Owen's, caught a brown on a green spoon.good luck try to make it out there in April right ? Is that the opener? And if I do make it, what lakes are good to start with while out there..never did an opener .😁

Don't know if you subscribed to Western Outdoor but that paper has gone downhill.They mostly do Northern fresh water reports and basically leave out our local area waters!I still subscribe to them.
