Thanks for the video, mates. It's a far, far better looking bike than the old one. Weight is also decent now. It'll probably sell quite well where people can afford it. And that's the rub, what are the prices going to be like after the usual bmw force feeding of add-ons? BMW's base bike were always affordable, but no one bought them like that, and after all the add-ons, they're usually only outpriced by Ducati.

Are all the UK bike channels just sending Chad to launches they haven't got time to do 😂 Poor bloke has managed to review this bike several different ways this week and somehow I've learnt something new each time ❤
@BikeWorldTVshow9 ай бұрын
Hey, not really our fault, the manufactures are inviting far less people to these launches now, smaller market and all that. If we still want to show the new bikes we have to sometimes share people like Chad, he does his best to make each review as different as possible, it does mean he's run off his little feet though. 🤣

Clearly a misch-moschi same-same-bike now in the can do everything somehow bikes. Not a T7 and not a Desert-X or their extremes. And not a Big Hammer V4Enduro. In that case it’s an easy choice: AfricaTwin, all the way. Which, that’s your choice. Just look at the resale of Triumph, even liking the triple, it’s not giving a positive sum and the Beemers, yes, the small one F800 sure for beginners who want to be in the Beemer game, but otherwise we all know what BMW fans will buy even for 3-4K more, a 1250GS or a 1300GS whatever fits the budget. To me: - T7 for the purpose - AT19” DCT 2024.for the comfort long-range travel with occasional broken non-tarmac roads - AJP PR7 for the TET/ACT travels - RD04 for living on the bike as a hobo somewhere in the world.

The thing is, the F900GS looks good on paper, when compared to the F850GS, but when you dig deep, you realise it's just a parts bin special with bodywork stripped away. Engine of the F900XR/R, headlight from the same models, Frame, suspension off the previous gen but revised, electronics package, off the other bikes in the range. There is nothing new or "unique" about this bike and sadly it shows when compared to the competition. It's a nice bike, but it's not the most powerful, most engaging, best handling, lightest or cheapest. It's a very "good all around" master of none bike.

All this talk about moving the back end around and popping wheelies is total garbage and will only encourage those who maybe dont have your skills to get into trouble on the road/ track. Grow up. Weve got too much mud in the UK to make these expensive heavy bikes worth the bother off road.....how many times can you lift the bike you dropped and not be totally knackered. Try it in the mud ! Maybe Im just getting old and yes like most competitors its probably a great piece of engineering. Spoilt for choice.
