Just saw the car at the dealership love the sport but doesn't have the carbon fiber package it's to bad I wish they had it look really cool car.

It is not entirely clear if the engine was off when the acceleration test was performed. Some reviewers discovered that smashing the A pedal is not the best method to get the car going.

Can you get Shadowline package without m sport package?

cannot here in the US. Shadowline only is an option if you get the m sport package...

If I understand it correctly, you're wrong about the X1 not having a tow hitch. I just bought mine with one; it can tow at least 3500 lbs.

I'm driving the X5 F15 since ten years now. And planning to change to an X1 or X3. What do you like the mist about the X1? Thanks.

@@laurapalmerTDGE I would say the following factors made me choose the X1 over other BMW models or brands. - Price I paid for the total pkg - Seamless and super fun driving - Comfort and Technology - Conservative Gas mileage, yet powerful - Space inside - Small (parking) footprint compared to others

@@KAMU13 - Thanks for your response. As you indicate and I thought so too, it is the golden mean and in an efficient way. The new X5 is getting more expensive and bigger without any advantages. The new 5 series can no longer fit in people's garages, etc. A complete X1 costs around 71,000 dollars here in Belgium. In the Brussels region I see an average of 25 per day over a period of 2 hours, which is quite a lot. Enjoy driving!

@@laurapalmerTDGE 71k Euros? Oh my! I bought mine for $41k out of the door in Florida. It has 3000 miles (4780 km) on it and was a dealer model.

@@KAMU13 - That is actually the best choice not to choose a brand new model but a young second hand. We call that a "executive car", actually cars with which the staff drive go to the showroom for a short time. This is also done to play with the turnover figures / registered cars .... At the time I had done this with a 320 diesel 184 hp F31 model, new was the price of EUR 49,000, bought at the dealer for 33 500 EUR and with 17,000 kilometers on the clock. The state was as good as new. Last week I went for maintenance with the F15 and there were a few X1s in the showroom. The interior is very good, enough space, the armrest that design is quite pleasant, the overall atmosphere is good.
