Surely x2 looks fab the x1 is all spacious and nice but it’s kind of boxy

Yeah, the X1 is boxy and looks too similar to the other BMWs SUVs. The X2 has a more distinctive style.

Do you think BMW has any plans to update the idrive 9 system? I test drove an X1 but the infotainment was unbearably laggy. And many owners have complained about losing the carplay connection when streaming music. Id love to purchase this but this is a huge deal breaker for a brand new car. Do you think BMW can or will improve this with future updates?

Small update already came out, it seems to have helped significantly with stability of the system itself. I haven’t heard of anyone having connectivity issues since, but I’m keeping an ear to the ground just in case.

The fixed glass actually is a killer… the X2 looks better in black than any other color because of the weird spoiler … but jeeezz my Mazda CX 50 has the best panoramic/moon/sunroof in the market then …. Full Panoramic, tilts and opens full tilt 50% …

Why did they do dual clutch?.

My best guess without knowing for sure is for control of the supply line… the DCT is in house made, but lower torque capacity than the outgoing 8 speed.

@@BMWofFW man. They tune the ZF 8 speed to be one of the best trans and then they do this. That’s a great guess though. It’s just too bad

I can’t decide both prices pretty good and cool Inside. The x2 looks better but it’s slightly less power.

@@michaelschneider1365 you can get the X2 at the same powertrain… The only difference is that two wasn’t an M35I model

@@BMWofFW right. I like the m package features on the outside and they both seem priced pretty good. Your right doesn’t have to be a true m but m everything options for the look. But the m seats are nice but not necessary. I got time to decide but x2 and x1 are my first choices then going for 330i. Best lease price wins. I will probably get one late fall early winter for an early lease buyout of my mini countryman. But it’s fun looking and deciding.
