Base model looks better than the M-Sport version but you need the 21’ wheels.

Base model looks better than the msport. The bumpers on the msport look over done. Not a fan of the piano black either. Wish it had better style rims though . Maybe there is an upgrade package.

I have one in shipping right now to replace my 2016 X1. It’s Cape York Green with oyster interior, premium package, driving assistance, active seats and aluminum trim. I think the styling is kind of blah, and the bumper corners are weird, but I buy BMWs for function, not looks and this was the best car for my needs. I preferred the old torque convert transmission to the DCT, and I wish the skylight was a delete option like the moonroof is on the X1. I live in Southern California so I don’t need a skylight for driving in gloomy latitudes and would prefer an opening sunroof for the ventilation. Still, the dealer gave me a good discount and I love my previous BMWs so it’ll do the job and I’m tracking it on the boat, should be here next month.
