@@mariareadsssf ooh there's definitely some overlap with my tbr there 👀 i absolutely agree Tainted Cup was fantastic! I've never heard of the Sarah Brooks one so i'll definitely be checking that out 😁

Octavia E. Butler was a genius. "Kindred" is the perfect place to start with her works. Then I would sugest the "Earthseed" duology and then her short story collection "Bloodchild and Other Stories".
