Playing music is a lot of fun, regardless of the number in the audience.

This youth orchestra is very good, no doubt. They are the better instrumentalist in the area, impressive. I am, however, more impressed by a couple significally SMALLER LOCAL junior high orchestras from Japan, The Koriyama and Yosami orchestras, where the Koriyama orchestra plays classical pieces using NO SHEET MUSIC. Both are highly diciplined, articulate, well-balanced, and highly polished for the age group. Here are just a few examples, enjoy: KORIYAMA J.H.S.: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppO1lIZrbs-Ga5o Dvorak, 9th Symph. 1st movement kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZeWZaFqjNR0maM Rachmaninov, Symphony No.2 - Allegro molto kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3S0moR3bMiKa7s Rimsky-Korsakov, Scheherazade kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3S0moR3bMiKa7s Tchaikovsky Symphony No.1 - Finale kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y3rQfZ53fd-Kr9U Holst The Planets Op.32 - Jupiter YOSAMI J.H.S. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2rdin6BqZyZrNU Dvořák Overture “Carnival” Op. 92 kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmmlaJ-cedhqa5Y Borodin - Prince Igor: Polovtsian Dances kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4TZZ6Z_oMurZ5I Mussorgsky - Night on Bald Mountain kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4qyoJ2sgrGGfNU Tchaikovsky Fantasy Overture Romeo & Juliet kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmmlaJ-cedhqa5Y Borodin - Prince Igor: Dance of the Dattan people
