It can travel 120 kilometers under electric power, which is enough for my daily commuting, and it can travel 2,100 kilometers under fuel and electric power, so I no longer have to worry about running out of oil. somehow, I am a bit overweight, hopefully BYD can bring this techno into its SUV units.

This highest trim costs U.S. $20,000 and has front heated and ventilated seats with rear AC vents and two rear charging ports. I'm shocked to see China has advanced a lot. This can kill the demand for diesel passenger cars, the point of diesel car is you pay higher upfront cost but it uses less fuel (that's how EU law makers plagued us with diesel). But diesel creates quite a lot of NOx pollution and new diesel cars are fitted with egr/dpf/adblue which requires maintenance and increases cost of ownership. With the current prices of LFP batteries being at 50$/KWh (atm) is really not that bad if you have to replace it after 15years of driving. And of course the price of this car is just insane, even after shipping and our tariff is around 25% it shouldn't cost more than 22-25k $ which for a car that competes against Camry/Accord/Passat is a bargain.

I talked with some Didi drivers in China, most of them prefer pure EV cars. because DMI still consume oil, while electricity is very cheap if charging at home garage. Taxi drivers might want this car if they often have passengers for long distance journey , such as 1000 KM ride a day in a highway. however, there is a new fast charging battery coming out, 10 min charging can power the car for 250 KM run, so some of Taxi drivers might want the new EV too

I also checked Sealion EV 07 550 KM, the Sealion is a middle size SUV , bigger than Seal DMI, also Sealion has self-driving system, self parking system, so I prefer to have Sealion EV 07, but a bit expensive, the basic version is 22 K US dollars, the self-driving version is 30 K dollars. Sealion looks more stylish and its backseat can be folded as a sleeping bed, surely you shall check this out , and finally make the decision. alternative option would be BMW I3 EV 527, this EV was released last Sept with a price at 39K dollars, since the serious competition in China, now this BMW is sold at half price , at 20 K US dollars, I am to check this BMW i3 this weekend, then place on order , either on Sealion or BMW I3.

Like what happened in India, India was very unfriendly to foreign investors. Because the serious competition in Chinese EV market, BMW is doing promotion in China too. BMW i3 EV 527KM was released last Sept with a price at 39 K dollar, now it is half price, at 20 K dollars. I have checked BYD stores, and prefer Sealion EV 07 610KM with smart self driving techno. but before actual ordering, I would visit BMW to have a look at I3, maybe BMW I3 could be a good option too, and I need to find it out. Seal DMI is very nice looking car, but I am a bit overweight, so I prefer SUV because my previous car is VW SUV.

Remove the 360 camera, replace I with a single reverse camera, take the panoramic sunroof, and give us normal sunroof. Add steal rims with normal removal caps. I don’t blame you for your skepticism. However, this is not a claim by some startup you never heard before. This is BYD, a company so famous and so threatening to the west Europeans and the Americans raise tarriffs on their cars to protect their industry. BYD now has clout as big as BMW and Mercedes in the Autoworld. I don’t think it will be fully 2100 KM, but it will be close. Even if it ends up at 1800KM real world, at this price, it will be sold out the moment it is launched.

It is more like an internal combustion engine than a hybrid car because it relies on the engine for a significant distance of possible mileage. This is because the batteries mounted on vehicles are small, with 10 kWh and 15 kWh, respectively. The ternary system is also a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with low energy density. "Considering the fuel efficiency announced by BYD, the oil tank capacity of the new PHEV vehicle is estimated to be 60 to 65 liters, which is larger than that of most large-sized cars," an industry official said. "It should be seen as an internal combustion engine with a mask of an electric car." Many say that BYD's fuel efficiency is also hard to believe. This is because China's fuel efficiency tests are 30% and 20% higher than those of the United States and Europe, respectively. Even if it is announced that it can run more than 2,000 kilometers in China, it can only be 1300 to 1400 kilometers in reality.

It seems that you didn’t get the point. This car has a 17 gal fuel tank, and it can run 80 mpg, 80x17x1.65=2244 kilometers. No one says you need a 2000km car. But if a car runs 80 mpg and it only costs around $14,000, as big as a Camry, and sold more than 200,000 in a week ……..
