Well I’m honestly not considering this vehicle. I will say a test drive would be more helpful then comparing trim but it was a good review. I wouldn’t consider ever buying another GM vehicle though. I hate to say but they produce junk! We’re n 2024 and many of their cars still have the same issues they did from 25 even 35+ years ago! Head gaskets that go, transmissions that fail prematurely etc. WHY? This isn’t uncharted territory every ICE vehicle has head gaskets and a transmission. Very sad what was once a leader is on life support now! Ford was building pretty reliable cars again but past 5-10 years it seems they too are slipping up. I won’t even get into Chrysler / Dodge. And BTW I am NOT a foreign car cheerleader and have only owned American my entire life. My current ride is a 97 Mark Vlll LSC. Best car I ever had. Over 350k miles original engine and one transmission. That lasted to265k miles!!!

That’s pretty much any car for me. I always let other folks take the depreciation hit and be the Guinea pig for new technology. I’m looking at the Grand Cherokee 4xe or the Lyriq, maybe two or three years from now.

Nice video. How long does it take to charge from 20 to 80% fast charging?
@richardovens520810 ай бұрын
Charge times vary and the chargers @240 volt level 2 11:38 are mostly rated from 19.6 amps down to 9.1 and between. Higher amps faster charge. Home wiring detetmines max amps . Home panel to charger for 19.6 probably code req 100 or 80 amp breaker, and big or thick guage wires 0 or 2 as higher amps would heat and actually move even shake thin wires and be fire hazard. Smart chargers can detect safe rates.
@richardovens520810 ай бұрын
New wiring from panel to charger through walls or conduit is better left to professionals. Permits and post installations may req inspections.

Perhaps GM could make some small cost savings across its EV range by eliminating those plastic covers 01:39 from the manufacturing process. The naked electric cables that pass for ev engines under the hood actually have a charm all their own.

@@RenlangRen it’s really no difference. The sport has no chrome around the door sales in bumper and the luxury does. That’s the only difference. However I’m not sure on the drive modes. I have the sport 1 it was just some features I just wasn’t ready for. I don’t use cruise control so why would I let it drive me. Now my husband was made at me about this.
