2024 California International Marathon Weekend Recap (CIM)

All Heart is such an inspiration to the running community. I ran into Cole and Evan a few minutes before the CIM race start and wished them luck. You guys have been helping me on my running journey for so long (this CIM was my first full marathon) and I was so happy to meet Cole and Evan by chance right before the start. I have so much appreciation for your family, thank you for sharing your journey with us.

Such an amazing effort with so much heart, love it!! I’ve been following your journey since I was training for my first marathon (NYC) back in June. Great effort by Evan and Cole! Just wondering if the weather was a factor. I always run better when it is cloudy regardless of temperature. Also, looks like Evan went with the Alphaflys over the Vaporflys, correct? I have a hard time choosing between them myself. Thanks for all the great running content. Cheers!

yes, the temps were perfect. and we could've had a little more cloud cover to help even more. Ive found that the perfect weather is mid 40s with a slight drizzle. yes, evan ran in alphaflys because that shoe fits her exactly. her vapors are a half size up since she grows so fast.
