2024 Chevy Silverado HD Crash Avoidance Glitch fix.....2020 and up also, can't be this easy!

Have a crash avoidance light on in your silverado....try this before you head to the dealer. maybe it's just a little reboot....try this in six minutes and save yourself some time. this will work on 2020 and up Chevy Silverado HD 2500 HD 3500 and 1500.

2022 Silverado Z71 diesel, and the crash avoidance dash light came on and the lane drift warning stopped working. I called my dealer this morning and was told to plan on leaving the truck with them for 2 to 3 days, and that's when I started looking for fixes. Yours is the first and only KZbin I watched, and I did exactly what you said and it completely fixed the problem. I pulled the fuse and then got caught by a neighbor, so it was probably out five minutes or so before I plugged it back it. Works perfectly, thank you!

I appreciate the video. This just worked for me on my 2024 2500hd. One trick that worked for me. I took the driver side off by mistake but noticed the tool to remove the fuses on that side and used it to remove that 10 amp fuse. Thanks!

Thank you for the video. My front collision light was on for the past few months and I didn’t want to take it in. Also my lane assist always said unavailable and the automatic on/off kill engine wasn’t working. Pulled the fuse for a few minutes and popped it back in and the light went off and now lane assist turns on. Great video!! I have a 22 Silverado refresh btw!

I have a 2021 high country suburban. I lost my adaptive cruise, Cruz braking and camera. After a month of troubleshooting I went to a dealer and the camera module has to be reconfigured thru a Gm tech line . The diagnostic test said u0447 code . (Loss of communication with gateway control module from windshield camera) B174w Reconfigure gateway control module, relearn forward windshield camera. I was able to reset the the Cruz with manual braking. During the reconfigure the tech line crashed and have to take back to finish. Make sure the dealer has a stable GM tech line.

Nice video. Unrelated but the giant 50 amp fuse in that same panel controls the 12 volt power on the dash. You can move it over one position to the right and it will make that outlet be accessory power, so the key has to be on. The way it is now it’s on battery power. That’s also a good spot to get power for something you might want to hard wire to the truck (like a dash cam or if you wanted to add a rear charge outlet).

I’ve been trying to get power without the key on or the engine running to the outlet on the dash or in the bed. Will moving the 50 amp fuse do that?

@@malcolmbufkin5582 no. The 110 volt outlets are run off the 400 watt inverter. So the truck has to be on or at the very least the key turned on for that to work. What I was talking about is just for the 12 volt plugs (like a cigarette lighter plug) on the dash and in the rear of equipped.

Wanted to try this. I have a 23 canyon but I no nothing about the fuse box. I believe mine is located in the engine any ideas. I don’t want to take it into dealer if it’s an easy fix. Might have too 😢
