Matt I am 66. I sat in the bleachers of the old stadium for Rick Mannings first game. I told my friends in Virginia that I won't die until the Browns win a Super Bowl and the Guardian/Indians win a series. Sadly I was given the nickname The Immortal. Maybe one of them this season with the Guards who knows. 🤞

@@dreadbull5039 .600 baseball for the first 2.5 months and basically .500 since. do you watch the games? the automatic outs at the bottom of the lineup combined with the complete cooling off of kwan / jose / naylor prior to the last week or so. also.. which starting pitcher outside of bibee do you trust in a short series? they are not great on the road either. in the second half in big series they win 1 vs sd, get swept by arizona, win 1 vs nyy in extras.. 1 vs. la. got swept by milwaukee. the thomas trade is now just seeming to not be a total botch. do you really believe this team can score consistently vs the top teams in the playoffs?

@@dreadbull5039 not ridiculous if you watch their style of play in the second half. they pretty much abandoned what got them the excellent record of the first half. kwan started striking out because he learned out to hit lasers for hrs. jose broke his swing participating in the hr derby. naylor swings way too hard and throws his balance off. that said. the bottom of their lineup has been nearly automatic outs. they are not great on the road. they have been abused by the top tier teams in the second half. padres dbacks yankees dodgers brewers to name a few. oh and they nearly blew the 10 game div lead over the royals. not every other team plays this way. they have a style of play that works for them. the guards success rate is highest when they get men on, steal bases, and single teams to death by manufacturing runs. the long ball will not be there in october as it has been lately. and your smug reply is not necessary. what credentials do you have to question what I do or do not know about baseball?

@@titansrule72 True. They have really struggled against playoff contending teams in the second half and there are multiple holes in the lineup, But in the playoffs, who is hot and who is not. We will see

Horrible take. I’ve watched this team every day. These kids just refuse to give up. Every team has been hit and cold this year, not just the Guards. And why is the long ball going to just disappear in October? I feel like everyone likes to say BS like “The Guardians way of winning is magically going to disappear in the playoffs.” Yeah no, we almost base hit the Yankees into oblivion a couple years ago, but this team is better and has pop. Unless you have also watched just about every game the Guards have played this year, I don’t want to here it because I have the eye test, not just box scores.
