i would really recommend going with gadget charge and using his gadgets because they are VERY helpful. but if not, you can use speed gear if there are a lot of bushes

In my experience, he is unplayable without comboshrooms. He needs the extra dps to win in the shadow realm most of the time. Also, you can rarely collect the mushrooms in the shadow realm with the other star power.

what i like to do with cordelius is use his attack block gadget in a bush but rather than waiting to see the enemy i look at my super to see if it increases as long as it’s a straight bush anyway and i know the opponent can only be infront of me
