I’d say the coupe/non convertible is the best way to go for corvettes. I mean you literally still take the roof off and be able to see your engine. It’s a no brainer for me but sick spec man! SICK🔥

😮 I tried to find this information, I counted 39 on C8 tracker. Still that is a pretty low number, and I am super happy with this choice. Bring value later to the car for sure, unless they bring it back down the line...LOL

Speaking of recalls, noticed recently complaints on Tesla Model 3 Performance about an oil leak on rear electric motor. Evidently hard to notice since there is a plastic protector under the motor. Don't know if it's the identical motor on S Performance. Peace

I am in a situation where I can buy either a Model S Plaid or an Eray. I understand the use cases are different. So use cases aside, and if you had to choose one, which one would you keep?

Well, both are built for a person who wants to go fast, and both are actually efficient. It comes down to what you are going to use them for, then you can decide. I have a Plaid and a Vette for different reasons. One is my daily driver to avoid paying for fuel, and the other is my weekend cruiser to have a good time with. There is no picking one for me...

Appreciate the reply. I would say that’s a testament to the Tesla considering how incredible the Eray is in your videos. Coincidentally, the Eray I am lined up for is a carbon flash coupe.

New. Local dealer has a stock unit. Pretty sure whoever ordered it backed out on it. Erays on dealer lots are going below msrp if you negotiate. Search on a car website and you will see advertised discounts from msrp of about $3k. I suspect this is because the Erays aren’t popular with the traditional corvette community (at least not at a price point in Z06 range), aren’t well known outside of the corvette community, and the economy is tightening.

In some locations they are selling below or at MSRP, but not everywhere. There are tons of dealers still trying to sell them at 50k over, that's crazy. I'm glad I got mine at MSRP several months ago, even though I was shocked at the time. They were asking for 25k over, but I just said NOPE! If you do get that one, you'll be in a small group of owners of this color. There are only 39 Carbon Flash Metallic E-Rays built with it. I'm happy to be one of them, considering there are about 1300 E-Rays for 2024 year.

Why did they charge you for your oil change? Isn't the 1st change supposed to be covered by Chevrolet? I really love the 5 spoke polished wheels & think they are the best looking wheels Chevy has ever produced. Don't like dark paint as it is lust to hard to keep clean My E=Ray is S/N 321 what is yours?

First service is free, not the oil change. 7500 miles is when you need to do the first service, that includes the DCT. I speak about tires in the video, I didn’t want to wait until then.

ALL cars have recalls, especially EVs. I know, I have 2 of them.
