I have a few Dahlias that I grow in pots on my deck but I am really new to growing them. I was eyeing the American meadows Vancouver Dinner Plate Dahlia and the Mom's Special Dinner Plate Dahlia to add to my small collection but I have not ordered them yet. The Floret seeds/farm just arrived on my radar...WOW! Everything about them is Stunning! I was eyeing their Zinnias too. Thanks for the great info on how to separate Dahalias. I would be interested in seeing how you store them from season to season too. ......I wasnt sure how to store mine properly. I just have them in a plastic bag in a box in a cool closet. Hi Alicia! I do have other videos on storing dahlias if you want to check those out. I stored mine in a box with peat and wood shaving/vermiculite. That look great so far, but still need to go through 4 more boxes! I'll be having a "Floret Originals" video in a couple weeks with another giveaway, so make sure you watch that one! I love Dahlias! I don't think there's one I don't like lol. Good luck this season! 🌺

Hi Crane! You just have to find the right method depending on where you store them. I had them in a cardboard box with peat/vermiculite and a little alpine shredding. Then I placed in my basement crawl space. I've done it two years in a row with success. Good luck and thank you for watching! 🌸🌱❤️🥰
