2024 Dept 56, Spiritual Guidance Review

In today’s episode we’ll take a closer look at one of my favorite accessories for Dept 56’s Halloween 2024 lineup-Spiritual Guidance!

When I saw a preview of this piece, I knew I’d have to have it…so thank you for reviewing it for us so quickly! I already ordered mine. My cemetery vignette is rather dark, and this will help to illuminate that area perfectly, not to mention the fact that I have a gargoyle fence, and this will fit in seamlessly! My favorite part is the dangling lantern.

This one is a must buy for me. I absolutely freaking love it. This is my fave piece by dept 56 this year. It has so much...delipatated fence, lamp lit archway, gargoyles, tombstones, spooky ghoul, & creepy ghost. I would probably add to my cemetery or make a mini vignette with it.

This wasn’t on my initial order, not because I didn’t like it, but because of how much money everything costs this year. However I did order it later after I saw it again. It looks really good and I love the simple vignette that you made using it.

Great piece for sure. I saw it by luck, so I got it. I plan to add it in with some spooky town items. I needed to add more to what I have I like mine too. Old country style maybe.

Love this one. I’m pretty sure I’m using it as the entrance to my crypt section of the graveyard. The pulsing lights of some of the crypts and the movement of “Escape the Crypt” will help balance. This is such a great piece I’m afraid it might overshadow anything static. I like your idea of adding more color lights. Another balance. Thanks!

This one is soooo cool! I have a church & cemetery in my trick or treat lane, but that whole village is more realistic, so im not sure the gate would look appropriate there. I have a separate layout with a pumpkin patch, corn maze, haunted fun house, Black Cat Diner etc ... maybe i could add a haunted church & graveyard there ... if i have room
