My 2024 planner purchase began in September (I think) and I decided to buy a 24/7 Hourly LDS version planner from In The Leafy Treetops. I like all the extra pages that can be repurposed in the LDS version and this was going to be the everything in one planner - did you catch the was? Then I got this good old use it or lose it email from Erin Condren so I went over to see if there was anything there that could use up all of my points that I could use and wanted. That's when I decided to get a monthly with notes to use as a financial planner because I want to have that as one of my big focuses next year. Then I went to get a Passionate Penny Pincher PDF version like I normally do every year during the big sale and decided I wanted to see what the physical version was next year instead of printing it out and using in my B6 Kikki-K. The PPP helps keep the housework on track and I really love checklists! Plus you get the PDF versions too including the digital planner so it was an all around win-win. You'd think that's enough, right?! Well, I did too until.... I decided I really wanted to go back to rings and felt the need to go back to my basics and the Franklin Covey Compact with the 7 Habits inserts. I can still use the EC monthly as intended so now it is time to figure out what I am using the ITLTT 24/7 for - well I will just use it for all things homeschool since I am more of a recorder than a planner when it comes to HS. PPP is still in as usual. I have been using a B6 Slim Cafe Notes in my neutered Filofax Holburn for November and through present. I think the Holburn is one of my favorite Filofax binders and really wish that the FCC fit in with the side tabs because tabs are my thing - the more the merrier! I'll continue using the Cafe Notes as a notebook since there will be a ton of pages left. But I will miss the Holburn because it is the perfect wallet. Or will I?! 🤔 Nope, won't miss it because my Holborn with rings now has the Day-Timer DO2P in it. 🤦‍♀ This is going to be my EDC because I have been setting it up for the last week and having fun doing so. Will figure out what the FCC pages will be for. Since the rings are smaller than the FCC rings I am using (40mm) it has been fun designing new extra pages for it that are combining others that I like but have no room for. I also pulled out my Calipso rainbow and am beginning to setup a system for 2025 (is it too early to think about that?) and it will be a desktop extension for the things I want "in" my planner, but not necessarily with me all the time. I have all 8 colors so I can use each one as a section reference. But that's not all! lol I fell for the Enchanted Greenhouse cover on the Passion Planner so I bought it with absolutely no plan in mind. It IS a very pretty cover. It was also on sale which is why I finally caved. I've since decided that it is going to be a document of daily news around the globe. This way we have our own written account of history. See...now I have committed to buying one every year because these history books have to match! I also bought a cheap hardcover dot grid notebook off Amazon that I want to set up as a common planner. Could I have used one of the many notebooks that are on my shelf? Yes, I could have, but like the Passion Planner I want everything to match, plus I didn't want to commit to spend 2-3 times as much as I had paid for this one once it is filled. I was very surprised at the quality too so I definitely want to keep getting them. Then I pulled one of the Recollections mini spiral off the shelf and a matching notebook. I want to start making videos again so I thought I would use it as a social media planner and notebook. I think that's it! Everything sure escalated quickly after the Leafy Treetops planner! 😂

Ummm… is that an insane amount of planners? Yes it is. Am I surprised? No, not at all lol. What happened to having it all in one? But… that would be one massive single planner lol. I love ALL the planners and wish I had the capacity to jump in and out. I think digital will help with that since I can frankenplan as much as I want with no bulk issues.

@@antonishapolitepeoples Haha in my defense, yes it IS an insane amount of planners even for me. Which is why I am already planning for 2025. My thought was how can I incorporate the bulk into the one personal size (along with the reference rainbow) so I will be spending a good portion of next year creating the 2025 inserts to take my favorite concepts and mesh them together. I've tried digital planning on more than one occasion and my 10.5" iPad Pro is not light and buying a Mini 6 like I want to is just not in the cards anytime soon. I also have a hard time finding things when it comes to the digital planners where indexing paper is second nature for me. I do use digital elements, but don't rely on it because anything can happen and I wouldn't be able to access it. Planner anxiety at its finest! lol
