Some days I wish I had this texture for the ease of straightening. I mean sis could have stopped at the blow dry. lol Also this product called the grip comb attaches to the top of the flat iron so you don’t have to worry about the chase method. There are a lot of dupes for the comb.

After u took your 2 braids apart, u could've just worn it with the waves. That was fire. But I know u wanted a complete straight silk press. Either way is cool. I try to avoid a lot of heat. Some women do silk presses every week or two. A silk press once a month is good for me, because I can make it last most of the month.

I don’t understand why you used shampoo after conditioning? The purpose is for conditioner to moisturize your hair.

I mean she says it at the first minute and a half mark. You want as little product weighing down your hair as possible. What she hadn’t mentioned is after the deep conditioning treatment, everything that needed to soak *into* your hair strands should still be in there,so washing off extra product on the surface shouldn’t negate that effort.

@@BKStarlet08 This, my silk press went to a professional level after i I started deep conditioning then washing (only when I do a isilk press) because the deep condition soaked in as much as it could and the shampoo rinse all the excess product from my strands resulting in a super light, bone straight silky press. Thats what I been doing for years now with my silk press and my hair always comes out great and reverts without heat damage.
