Impressed with how early you all got this review out. I think Dodge is on the right track.

All of the reviews on this car were most likely embargoed until today. I’m seeing a bunch of other car magazines finally releasing their information about it. There’s really no surprises.

Right track? This vehicle is cool, but Dodge is definitely struggling with bad management.

@Jorge_Magallon Everybody has released vids today. As far as being on the "right track", you realize these weigh 5,800 lbs, are 206" long and 80" wide, correct?

MOPAR enthusiasts do not want this car. It’s big, heavy and it’s overpriced expensive. When the price is chill a bit it might be worth considering but I have a problem with STELLANTIS service. Their service center suck. The dealers are gonna have tremendous problems within the coming months because Carlos Tavarez didn’t count on going back from his move forward to EV. If they really do want to bring back V8 engines they’re going to need an all new platform. Anything less than a hellcat engine is a downgrade. That’s the problem that they are going to have moving forward. People are going to see the new products and be completely disgusted by them because they either don’t offer what the old products offer or they’re going to be considerably more expensive. And that’s before you even talk about insurance prices haven’t gone up. Insurance prices rose more than 50% during the Biden administration. When I bought my hellcat 2016 Dodge charger, I only paid $75,000 and the car insurance was about $315 per month. Since then, car theft has increased and coincidental insurance premiums have increased.

Looks great but I'd drive it with the fake sound off. Those brake callipers are massive!
@AutoGuide18 сағат бұрын
Indeed. I wonder how long until the aftermarket cracks the code for the Fratzonic. There could be an entire industry for aftermarket sounds. I want my Charger to sound like a C-5 Galaxy. -MS

They realize how obnoxious sounding it is, I’d be livid if they didn’t let you turn it off. Past that 6000+lbs when you’re behind the wheel that’s insane! You’ll be eating brake pads for lunch and tire tread for dinner, no dessert though because it’s not even capable of burnouts

The Banshee will be popular, but the Scat Pack will be the volume seller! The LT will be too slow for this size and weight vehicle!

A beautiful car but EV powered that nobody wants. Send them to Europe and build ICE versions with hurricane power and Hemi power for the US.

Good review and critique. Look out for the emotional comments from those who haven't even seen the car or even touched an EV! I like it, but it's definitely $20k waaaaayyyy too optimistic considering their current cost to value to quality proposition. The Tesla Model 3 Performance and Ionic N are DEFINITELY competitors, 2 doors or not, and their value proposition to performance have already smoked it. ESPECIALLY the Tesla which has M3 levels of performance at $45k.

You may be right, but the Charger is massive. Bigger than a Model S even. We're not sure what it will be cross-shopped with. Mustang Mach-E could be one of them since they both have muscle car names. 🤷♂️ -MS

68 Charger rear lights were 2 pair of rounds, not across - maybe you mean 66/67?

I couldn't care less how this does on a track. What's it like to live with? How does it drive on the road? How easy is the charging system to use? I don't like the sounds at all. In your demo it sounded like a dying engine.

Well you guys were the first to report on this piece of shit. Which means the embargo must have been lifted. And I think this video was recorded before all the “shit hit the fan” at Stalantis. No, this is not a muscle car. No, people are not gonna wanna buy this if they are real dodge fan. Even the person reviewing this electric car, doesn’t sound like he’s very impressed with it. Let’s hope that with all the changes going on (the firing of Carlos Tavares😃) that will give this car what it really needs, some tweaks to the style of the car, AND A REAL V8!!!!!!
