2024 Elections | Some residents in Rustenburg resolved to boycott elections

Some residents in Rustenburg in North West have resolved to boycott elections and resorted to participate in a constructive protest of cleaning their community.
The aggrieved residents of villages that include Lekgalong, Ikageng and Lesung say the government has failed them by failing to render basic services including water, electricity, a local cemetery and roads.

We lack leadership drive,many residents opted for not voting,same thing happened to my rural areas,and fortunate enough I had a chance to visit them on the 4th of may,and managed to talk to the chief of the area and ppl were convinced to vote,and they said they don't want to see a single ANC poster there but we managed to hang ours and start campaigning for ActionSA from that particular day.
