As we continue with our conversations with various stakeholders about the state of South Africa building up to the general election on the 29th of May 2024, this week Morning Live is focusing on the views of the youth.
Today's panel is made up of six ordinary South Africans in the country's youth category.
And today's panel will be sharing their perspectives on the state of the country, their views on what is it that is working about the country, what does not work, and their hopes for the future of South Africa beyond the elections.

Political grandstanding is a disgrace. Poster on the wall is so yesterday. Youth communicate on a much higher level than the politicians do. Jobs Jobs Jobs. Most parties don't have an effective employment POLICY just a poster roll out policy

Going to Universities is bn used as classy & luxury entity...and not bn used as a basic need....(The matric class of 10yrs ago are still unemployed)... Speaking on behalf of the youth on the Capeflats i am excited for the change as currently and in the past coloured people are the Forgoten people of thebwestern cape especialy . Illlegal foreigners has become issue . The other day i was sitting in the bank when illegal foreigner thats illegally here was rude to older woman working for the bank as she mentioned she couldnt assist . I felt disgusted almost spinned the guys jaw because first point was it was woman he spoke aggresiveky and down on and 2nd point was you from anorher coutry in our soil and have nerve to have such attitude whether he was here illegally or not . I personally think we need youth league party which has no political ties and give them 5 seats in parliment .
