Well Done. Plenty of ACTION! It's a shame you couldn't get it on video bit still great. I still haven't drawn back on a Deer with My New PL. I got it in March. I did get one with My New PCH though. The 1st Deer I drew back on. a fat 4 pointer. The best was I was on the ground. What music did You use in Your Video? Great Bass player.

Great job Chris! And just curious, the hand gesture at the 10:04 mark, were you channeling your old Italian grandfather? 😂

You had to of used a mechanical in order to get such a fast and human kill 😂. Joking of course what broadhead are you slinging?

@@tray22 😂😂😂 200 grain VPA 3 blade, 1 1/4”. I’ve had similar experience with Ace standards too.

@Mckinleyflies I shoot a compound but plan to try out trad next year. I have been shooting montec g5 for years and recently switched to cutthroat 150s. A single bevel does a number on deer.

Bow was. Black Widow PL, 47lb at 28” (my draw). Arrow was a 500 spine Safari Tuff Taipan with hand painted tree bark camo, aluminum insert and a 1 1/4” 200 grain VPA 3 blade. Kustom King Feathers.

I don’t wanna hurt anybody’s product but that arrow holder cost me a buck. In the cold here in NY it becomes extremely brittle & loud. They need to change the formula of the rubber like the Saunders which I’ve gone back too. I really liked those holders before that.

What the hell did I just watch? No shots, no hits, 16 minutes wasted for nothing.

There was definitely a shot and a hit. And a deer tipping over (on camera). Unfortunately self filming a hunt doesn’t always go as planned. At first the deer started to cut in front of me so I pointed the camera in that direction and got my fingers on the string. But at the last second he dodged to his left and trotted behind the tree. Time did not allow me to reposition the camera and getting a good shot is more important to me than getting it on film. So I apologize for not getting that footage for you. I did the best I could and it was also my first go at self filming. Have you ever given it a try? I highly recommend it.
