It would be interesting to see how an aftermarket H/Y pipe but exhaust with factory manifolds does compared to the long tubes with otherwise stock exhaust. The gains with just headers was impressive.

Love the look of the short cab but don’t know if I could drive it daily. I sat in a f250 single cab and it was fine. No f150 single cabs around her to sit in

Nice so the warranty was voided by using the other whipple tune. Also both whipple stage 1 and 2 are 135 mph limiters

That’s correct. The Ford Performance tune is limited to 105.

Whipple tune blew up my engine!! Never again. 2019 Mustang GT Whipple stage 1 on 93 octane. Lots of issues with the tunes of that vintage that were "Ford approved" ....that was right when they got rid of the warranty on the Whipple option....I wonder why. It was purchased from Lebonon Ford performance center brand new. Broke cyl 7 and 8 piston rings, cracked the piston skirts along the way. Look it up from around 2018-2020, lots of people with same problem. Detonation during regular driving situations, timing issues. Car had 11k miles and babied. No more Whipple tunes for me ever.

are these catless long tubes? whipple said no can do because it goes against smog violations on the 24 when i’ve talked to them. let me know if anyone has info on this I have stage 2 24’ and catless long tubes waiting to get put in with no help from whipple and worried it’ll throw codes

you cats will for sure get smoked but its really a matter of how fast. 75k miles? or 5k? depends on how you abuse them. The whipple tunes are sloppy rich and kinda lean at times but its pretty much agreed that rich hot fuel will be dumped into the cats. Gesi gen 2 cats are very durable and you can get a y pipe for these with those equipped. Still will need a defouler.

I also already have the Y pipe to a side exhaust just hooked up to stock shit but whipple said they couldn’t do anything for me because no cats so it’s throw them on or they’re wall decor in my room until HP tuners unlocks

There is a difference between FP kit and Whipple kit. FP kit is gen 5 and Whipple is new gen 6 design. Both FP and Whipple stage 1 kits reuse oem injectors and tb. If you voided the warranty with stage 1 tune..should of just gone to stage 2 with billet 132 tb, injectors and tune imo. Was this done in normal mode or sport?

Sport doesn't make any more power. Just changes throttle sensitivity and shifting, still same power level.
