@@willzbillzfam whatever you can buy the truck for +11,000 installation included I’ve been down this road before I know the pricing and anybody that disagrees with me has no idea what the hell they’re talking about. I had a 2023 F150 Ford that I supercharged and a 2019 Mustang GT I Whipple supercharged. I know how much Ford charges and the warranty is free with an installation by a Ford mechanic that is accredited to install these superchargers. There’s no way that truck’s worth that much money as I said before you got ripped off if you paid that much.

Got my 24 F150 3 months ago. I ordered it in Atlas blue with 4 wheel drive and a bed liner. With all discounts and cash back was 34670.00 before tax and shipping. I am on the fence about supercharging it. I took the time to read the warranty and not really comfortable with some of the details in it. Maybe it's not right for me. The truck is so good stock and for how quite it is it makes me have second thoughts. The gas mileage is amazing also, would I like to have more power ? yes. I am going to wait awhile and see what comes down the road as far as tuning. I do know that there is another blower company coming out with a kit that will be more like 600HP and may be more with I am looking for. I want to use this to pull my race trailer and do truck jobs and not worry about breaking it. I have lowered it 21/2" in the rear and 1" in the front. At this point I could not be any more pleased. atlas blue

@@manuelmaravilla8506 I am in the same boat. Best offer i have so far with supercharger installed is $55,500 out the door, and that's the low trim with 4wd. I didn't really like the low trim, because no rear defrost, or fog lights and steel wheels, so I am countering 54,400. We will see. I am not going to lower it like this one is It seems like a lot of issues can come with that. I am just going to drop the rear a smidge to level it.

Most of the pro/cons you discussed are mainly due to built vs bought. I chose to buy stock and build to my liking. I don't have any of the driveline vibration issues you describe, but i went with VAS 3/5 kit with traction bars and ihc upper adjustable control arms.

@@dougn6465 Quiet as in creeks or squeeks? It is quite as a mouse. The ride quality is really good also, but realize it is a lowered application. Wheel/tire selection also has lots to do with ride quality.

the ridetech drop kit has a lot better ride quality compared to ihc, ihc is one of the cheapest kits you can get even with upgraded shocks it doesn’t ride great.

Seems like an honest assessment. Good, Bad or Indifferent we all have different tastes. First person I have read about online that is honest about the issues with owning a lowered truck. Too many people deny that these vibrations are present because they love the look and stance the kit provides. Hauling and towing can also be affected with a lowered truck, but then you probably would not have done that modification if that was your goal of having a regular truck. Thanks for the review.

Part of it was that is was the only one within the western half of the country and about a 10 minute drive from me. Being able to see it in person and test drive it and have a local shop to work on it adds a ton of value. If I bought one out of state, all that goes out the window. What price do you think is fair for this rig?

For the folks shytin on the 2wds a couple things to consider. 1st, its a street truck on radials. If you are building a dedicated race truck then of course a 4wd is the easy route. But for a daily where most people arent standing on it from a stop light a 2wd is fine. And with a tire, suspension tuning, and Calvert bars 2wds hook pretty well from a dig. Of course you need to know a little about which obviously is not the case here.

I think 4wd is a must if you are supercharging. Huge street advantage, it's the only way to put all that power down, especially for a daily because daily drivers aren't into tuning and dialing as much as racers

Great video. I’m contemplating a 2WD Saleen vs a 4x4 Lightning Bolt. Don’t have plans of taking it to a drag strip but worry about the back end getting squirrelly when accelerating. Sweet truck!

Your breakdown, cost & analysis was spot on for the parts as I'm building almost the exact same truck...but saving the build/procurement/install cost and doing it myself. All done except still waiting on delivery of my gen6 Whipple kit...which will likely void my warranty immediately as it's stage 2. Nevertheless, I just had to say it's a shame about the vibration. I installed my Ridetech 3/5 w/traction bars & sway bar and fortunately mine came out perfectly at the 1 degree pinion angle recommended on the composite spring trucks w/the standard setup and I have no vibration at all. If they've had more than one shot at getting the angle correct I would suggest a different shop, I know the directions are somewhat confusing but most good shop mechanics can decipher them. There's 4-5 degree of adjustment depending on which of the 2 perch positions and wedge shim positions used. But Most importantly it needs to be measured correctly while the truck is on the ground, hard to do on a lowered truck. You won't regret the few $ you pay for someone to get it right so you can enjoy it. On 20" Weld Laguna's w/Toyo 305-50's mine rides/drives almost as good as my c7.

Honestly, I'm very close to taking it somewhere else. They admitted at one point that they tightened the traction bars while it was in the air so they gave themselves away there. But it's free for me to have them work on it so I'm trying to give them a chance. Times almost up though... I really want this thing to ride smooth. Enjoy your build. @@willzbillzfam Forgot to mention mine is 4x4...I did kept things simple and believe the rear flip kit should be installed first getting the pinion angle correct before adding the traction bars or sway bar. Install everything with all the bolts snug, only the Ridetech front bracket should be fully torqued from the get go, otherwise tighten/torque all the others after it's on the tires sitting on it's weight. Not easy and maybe not totally necessary, but as I said to begin, mine came out as advertised. My son also has a 24 rcsb 4x4 we installed this kit on and we did have to flip his wedge shims to get it right. How & where the angle is measured makes all the difference. Must be on a level surface and positioning the u-joint on these f150's is paramount to getting the correct angle reading...the flange is not easy to get, in my case, a klein digital gauge on. Keep making the effort and the reward will be a truck you'll love driving.

Hey brother great video, your pretty spot on with everything you're saying. I have a 24 with the Roush 2650 Supercharger 4x4 XL103A package and I absolutely love it. Your right about the little quirks here and there with these trucks. Mine was set up with the 22 X 9.5 inch Niche Prodigy wheels on Good Year Eagle F1's and the MBRP cat back side exit exhaust with the IHC full suspension kit at the dealership. Thanks for the video.

The supercharger was the longest install out of all the parts (13 hours) and it costed $1,300 to install. If you are in these comments NEVER buy a vehicle like this assembled by a dealer. The vibes…in my 2 cents, comes from the mono leaf composite leaf springs. I’m not sure what year they changed from a full leaf pack but that seems to be the culprit. I had a full leaf pack with a ridetech kit and my friend has a 24 and he has vibrations. There is a guy on KZbin with a 4 link kit that looks like the hot ticket.

It's manageable. It will depend a lot on your experience and driving style. I put mine in Sport mode, locked the rear diff, took traction control off, sent it, and scared the living shit out of myself. But it helped me to learn the truck to where I can push it to a comfortable limit and still have a lot of fun. The thing about a 4x4 is that you'll only use it for launches. You can't drive around in 4x4 unless there's snow on the ground so most of the time you're only working with 4x2 anyway.

@@willzbillzfam Yeah a bit more power and free air flow. The stock catalytic system is very restrictive. In extreme cases people have overheated, clogged up and destroyed their catalytic converters which can damage the motor (no air flow). A good reminder to let things cool down a bit between hard pulls. I was considering it but it's around $2k. It's more of a racing part but just know those cats can fail.

IDK man....at some point you might as well just NOT try to make a truck fast but just buy a car. To me that price is crazy. You could grab a used Model S Plaid with self driving, a 9 second car, AND a truck for that price. Granted, both used, but still. Oh, it's 2wd? Dang. I'm going to be honest, the "I'm not trying to race" and the "less parts to worry about" seems like cope to me. If that's the case, why not buy a stock truck? To me, this is the worse middle ground. Paying extra for the supercharger but not the 4wd seems crazy. I'm a gun guy and it reminds me of my first gun, a snub nose in 357 mag. It just really doesn't make as much sense. Ive got a 21-23 stg 2 kit on the shelf. Please dont pay an 11k premium for a dealer install on these parts. The warranty is limited, and there is nothing on the truck that you can destroy that cost 11k to fix.

abandon the susp.....you are clearly wealthy. Looks like a hot climate. You should have gotten the 4wd and just done a basic leveling kit. I have been considering one of these trucks in 4wd but they have a 103mph limiter on them on stage 1. Power falls off on its face. Stage 2 voids the ford warranty. I haven't been able to find a clear answer on what whipples warranty is on stage 2 and if it costs more money being 3rd party. For me the truck needs to go 10s If I am driving around fucking poverty spec XL Reg Cab.

And good call on the exhaust, the exhaust that exits in front of the tire voids the ford performance warranty, which is basically a 7500.00 dollar max engine whipple warranty. Do yourself a favor and let the truck cool down in between pulls if you want the cats the last. Would also invest in a idash from banks so you can monitor catalytic coverter temps. Or go catless/gesi cats. Sweet truck and video.

Just feel bad for these guys who have no clue, and when there "warrantied" truck blows up and there unaware of the dollar caps that the warranty has. Alot of these guys believe ford will back these trucks, the warranty is through Whipple your powertrain through Ford is voided.

First off I want to start by saying I have the same truck and I have a lowered 4/6 on a IHC kit and have zero problems and you are the first person I’ve ever heard to have driveshaft issues on a 2 Wheel Dr. and exhaust is a personal preference but personally if it’s too loud, you’re too old lol and as far as the nitto 420 V I read a lot of customer reviews on that tire and nobody complained about noise. And you also complaining that it doesn’t hook up what did you expect on a radial tire and not enough suspension you might want to look into upgrading suspension from VAS suspension vas arb shock relocation kit and maybe getting a set for the rear of weld racing wheels with a a Street strip slick or just straight up slicks and you might want to go check out coyote, direct videos, and all motor labs videos and also you might want to take it into consideration that it is a pick up truck so it’s going to be a little notching and a little loud and not right perfectly. It’s not a Cadillac.
