I just finished decorating for fall and understand your process of decorating, living with it a bit, then making changes to achieve a better balance, placement of seasonal decor, etc. I call it decorative “editing,” and really get going with that process once my Christmas tree is up. I love to decorate for the holidays- especially Halloween and Christmas- I have a Halloween party every year for my “Ghoul friends” I go all out, but my husband passed away from cancer 6 years ago and it’s a lot to do by myself, but I do it because I think I would be more sad if I didn’t. Your cute little house is coming along nicely- very cozy!

If you have a Cracker Barrel near you, they have some of THE CUTEST s&p shakers for all seasons! Like flip flops and flamingos for summer, skulls for halloween, and acorns & pumpkins...that's just to name a few. Tons for each season!!

I actually do like it PLUS it creates content for me! Thank you for your opinion but to me it does not look cluttered but then again I’m not a minimalist and I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s so there’s that (if you know, you know) Different strokes, that’s what makes the world go round!!
