Because I worked in retail most of my life (I'm 65) so I decorate for Fall Sept 1st till Nov 1st then it's Christmas decor. I used the lights & beautiful colors to unwind because I was actually starting to hate the holidays. Everyone has to do their own thing in their homes without being judged. By the way awesome music & your decor turned out beautiful ❤

I found you while searching for a decorating video that uses traditional autumn colors. They are quite hard to find. God created autumn and all it's breathtaking colors. There is nothing neutral about autumn. Thank you for sharing your beautifully decorated home.

🥧🕯📖🍂 Hello! New to your channel! You have such a beautiful home and style it very well. I love that we have a similar style. {Cottage/farmhouse, traditional/cozy, simple/minimal} I practically live at work (not by choice). Keeping up with housework is a struggle, so I have to take advantage of the Labor Day weekend to deep clean and decorate for fall. Some of my favorite traditions, aside from apple picking and pumpkin patches, are bonfires and hayrides, fall harvest festivals (Covered Bridge Festival, IN), and creating ambiance.. putting a stormy, autumn YT scenescape on the TV while reading a book... candles and/or fireplace are a must. I am glad to find a fellow Christian! Officially subscribed.

Hello Rebekah ypur channel came up this morning when I turned on the TV in mom's room. I sitting with her awhile after I take care of her morning needs. She is bedridden and on Hospice now for 2 yrs. I started pulling out my tubs yesterday. She goes for respite care Labor day weekend so we can get a few days break with our children and grandchildren. We have a cabin in the Smokies. So I want it to all be done when we return home from the trip that Monday. We usually have fires on Saturday when it cools off. Watching Ga football outside and have dips and such with our friends and family. Everyone comes here bc we have mom. We camp the whole week of Thanksgiving woth family and friends at a local state park so the family who doesn't camp comes and spends the day. Mom goes to Hospice House that week too. I ask you just pray for God's will for my precious momma. She is ready to go see Jesus and my daddy. She calls for her momma alot now. She has dementia. My daddy was a Southern Baptist preacher and momma played the piano at church until a few yrs ago. We trust in the Lord for his plan but she is ready. This is no way to live.
