Had a lot of success just sticking to 3 rules in fantasy, and although its pretty square stuff, if it works it works. 1. Can never have enough good-great RBs, always double dip in the first 4 rounds. Usually go RB back to back to start, but last couple years Tyreek and CD were there in the 2nd so I went with them, but then go RB/RB in 3rd/4th. 2. WR is always the deepest position especially nowadays with the high powered offenses featuring 3 guys. Draft your RBs/TE early and get WRs later. You have a much better shot getting breakouts at WR than any other position in the later rounds and theres always some studs who come off waivers 3. In a 10 man league like mine, don't draft a QB early even if there's a run on them. I'm always the last guy to pick QB and last year I ended up with Dak in the 10th, Jalen in the 8th year before that, Josh Allen couple years before that etc. You'll miss out on 9 guys, but they won't all be top 9. 1-3 of those guys will fall out the top 9, so even if you get the 10th QB off the board it's still an awesome QB to have and if you're kind of lucky, they'll finish top 5-8 and be your steal of the draft. Also not a rule, but if you're targeting 1 of the top 5 TEs but you miss out on 1 because once Kelce goes off the board in round 2, Andrews and the other top TEs come off in short order. Dont panic and just take whoever is TE6. Use those mid rounds to get your WRs, QBs, and depth after taking your RBs early and target a TE with a limited QB who'll dink and dunk or target a TE in a pass heavy offense. Last 2 years I've gotten Njoku in rounds 12+ and he may be the biggest steal in fantasy these past couple years. In 2021 I got Hunter Henry in the 13th and I think he finished top 10 that year.

I respectfully disagree. I think grabbing two alpha WRs early may be better. RBs can be mixed in and still be successful
@plazik74815 ай бұрын
@luigi516 Everyone's got a different strat. I just think RB is the most valuable position in fantasy, and of course the most injury prone. I want at least 3 RBs who are RB1s-RB2s so even if my best back gets hurt, I can still match anyone in my league in RB play. I think the difference of points between a great RB and a flex RB, is greater than that of a great WR and flex WR because the position is so deep
@vikes4life1835 ай бұрын
Whos the late round qb your going after this year?
@plazik74815 ай бұрын
@vikes4life183 My league takes QBs like a round later than usual, aside from Josh Allen going mid-late 3rd rd and Lamar shortly after. But this year I'm going to try to replicate my Dak in the 10th rd last year and go with Burrow in rounds 8-9, Jordan Love in rounds 9-10, Goff in round 10 or later since he plays 14 of his games in a dome this year I believe, and if all those guys are off the board earlier than expected then Caleb Williams in round 9-10. To be fair this is the 1 year I'm kind of thinking of going QB within the first 6 rounds. If Anthony Richardson is there in the 6th he's my #1 target but I think with all the hype, he'll go earlier

You're a crazy person if you draft a QB early. Kirk, Burrow, Love, Purdy, and you can even Stafford can be a good value. Give me WR1+Love over Allen+flex.
@jamesjoseph57076 ай бұрын
Agreed. People are Mental if they dont think Allen falls off in 2024. Mental.
@lmaolmao-ib8lg6 ай бұрын
@jamesjoseph5707 not just Allen, but Purdy/Love are both on the upswing. Stafford has strength back. Burrow is Healthy, Kirk will be healthy considering he doesn't run, and he has a Madden team. All of these guys are insanely cheap. Tua even if he has a healthy season I think he was QB6 in my league before injury, I had him. Hurts will have Barkley taking TD's, Richardson is a injury risk, Allen will fall off a little, Lamar will have Henry stealing Td's, and who knows about Mahomes from a fantasay standpoint.

Man I’m so sick of people thinking Tee Higgins is going to be traded. The Bengals are better with Tee and they’re trying to win a Super Bowl. Ask ANY Bengals beat writer or any Bengals fan who’s been following the team for more than a decade, the Bengals don’t trade players. It’s extremely rare they trade players they don’t really want, but it happens rarely. For players they feel they are better with, they don’t trade them. And they almost never trade players that demand a trade, the only time it’s ever happened in the past 30 years was Carson Palmer and it only happened then because they were offered so much value they couldn’t turn it down. No team, WR thirsty though they may be, will offer the Bengals a deal for Tee Higgins that the Bengals could not turn down. As much as other teams say they would love to have Tee, he’s never played more than 14 games in a season and he’s a great WR2 but he is not a true Alpha receiver that defensive coordinators have to take away. He’s not a burner and not a tough possession receiver. So please stop. Tee will play out his contract this year and he’ll play well enough to get a top deal from another club if he’s not tagged again in 2025.

I’d be interested in the time split. It feels like in an hour Yates talks for at least 40 minutes and the other two get 20 together.

Gesicki disrespect absolutely. Burrow is good enough to make CJ Uzomah and Hayden Hurst fantasy relevant and to earn them a new contract, but Mike Gesicki isn’t projected for more fantasy points than Ben Sinnott, Will Dissly, or Greg Dulcich? What’s that about? The Bengals have to replace Boyd in the slot and Gesicki’s more big slot than TE. Recency bias for having a bad year with the dumpster fire that was the New England offense last year? TE33?? I don’t get it, man.

Man how football has changed. I've only watched your show a couple of times. It isn't one of the better more informative shows on youtube. I managed a couple of minutes of your fashion show and that was it for me. I have a hard time taking so called experts seriously when they're sitting in shorts and tank tops talking about their wardrobe on what's supposed to be a fantasy football show. Ever heard the expression attention ho? If you feel the need to do that, at least have Stefania Bell on with you so there'll be someone worth looking at.

Poser channels are like 60% of all channels. The Easiest way to tell not to listen to them is if they wont SHUTUP about Garrett Wilson. Thats the #1give away they dont know what their talking about. Aaron Rodgers is cooked. Done. He will get benched if he manages not to get Hurt. I was watching Rodgers throw and was not impressed. Rodgers is not ageing well. He looks like hes 60 years old. Hes destined to get Hurt early. I dont think he could survive a single Sack. Plus its the Jets so you know nothing good can come from it.
