we’ve hit the kind of over saturation phase of the bow trend- i could see the bow patterns (like the lisa says gah bow knits, printed bows, etc) slowing down a little soon but actual bows and ribbons sticking around and evolving much longer

i think the color dark blue/navy could be the next big color after red and cherry red. We have seen so many other colors pop up during recent years but navy has been a bit forgotten. Navy also goes so well with red or cherry red and it's a classy color that goes well with the quiet luxury trend.

I do think the difference between "online fashion culture" and "retail fashion culture" or "mainstream fashion culture" can be really curious. As an example, during the height of Cottagecore, I noticed a lot of sales people in certain stores that were trying to jump on the trend really didn't "get it". They got that this certain sundress was suppose to be their "it" piece for the summer, but they didn't quite understand why or how it plugged into pop culture. You would be surprised at how high up the luxury ladder a brand can be, but their staff are really not being helped to understand what trends are driving the inventory then showing up on their store shelves. It's sort of strange, because often high-end sales people are trained to be very hands on, but as part of that I feel like the brand itself should maybe try to help them understand that like; "See this specific heel? It's part of a whole thing right now about wearing this heel-height with this cut of shorts".
