It's an evolution and not a revolution. The car mostly looks the same as the 2015-2022, but that's okey. They year 2015 makeover of the S550 was very well done and is what made me buy a 2017 GT convertible that I still love. The 2023 Mustang still look good despite still mostly looking the same.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I'm really not a fan of the new styling, especially the front end. It's way too exaggerated and aggressive, almost to a cartoonish degree. The front fascia looks too big for the rest of the car. The previous model wasn't my favorite, but I liked it a lot better than this. So far, though, the 2005-09 generation has had by far the best Mustang styling of the modern era.

Well, if you don't want people taking your stuff when you leave the car you put the top up. To be fair, i agree with you. I own a convertible and i love driving with the top down. It makes me wonder why people drive with the top up. But at least they have the choice i guess.

I like the car, but this is little more than a slighly updated s550. Mustangs need to be styled differently, be more distinctive between models. This is Ford just giving up. They jammed an Ipad into the dash instead of integrating it into the molding. The heat extractor is something from a online mod store. The lines aand curves on the body are slighly different than the s550, barely. The back end is Great but they overall missed the mark here. I will stick with my 2020. This will the last Mustang.

Its practically the same fenders from the S550. They literally poke out more for a more muscular look, which is why it looks similar to a Camaro.

Most people don't realize the Ford Mustang horse was made by Bill Swan at international fiberglass it was made out of fiberglass weighing 76 pounds. Ford paid Bill 100 for the horse along with a Thank you card from Edsel and he also got print out of the horse in 3D and this is the exact ether emblem was copied from though the man who copied it got full credit. I will pass on it ! On a scale 1 to 10 the dash is a 1 the rest of the car maybe 5 . As other commenters said to much Carmaro looking .When they changed the mustang in 2005 it saved Fords but . From 2015 on they ruined it they took the classic looking mustang out of it. Look at Mopar have not changed it hardly at all still selling well. The Challenger out sold the mustang in 2021. I am not a Mopar Fan. As the old saying goes if ain’t broke don’t fix it

These new Mustangs sound awful... simulated somehow... I know some of you can hear this. It sounds... I didn't know... contrived? This is not the sound of a tuned exhaust system, but just a noise produced by advanced computer technology. The GT500 up until now, sounded throaty and Ford-like. The Ford GT was the best sounding supercar ever built. These remind me of an Audi SQ5 with the exhaust baffles open. I can't believe people are basing their opinions on the sound of a car... and a lousy sound at that. It's a phony gimmick for a phony buyer. Fast... LOUD. Prepare yourself, regular folks and innocents, because no matter how safely these cars are engineered, its at the highest speeds that these over-powered rides will be traveling when they approach an intersection in a residential area. (needless to say, look both ways) Now "Drifting features?" That is a recipe for disaster in today's world; are these automakers for real? The option to "light them up" at a traffic light? I can see it now, stupid privileged brats swinging into the car next to them, losing control on corners, drifting onto interstate ramps... you know and I know where this is all going. Hey listen, I love muscle cars as much as the next person, but not in a world like today's, where responsibility is shunned in favor of making impressions at the cost of lives. It's all about the money, and our greedy auto manufacturers prove it each day by making them faster while protecting themselves by saying "drive responsibly." Like Philip Morris, they could care less about you and me, it's about one thing and one thing only. I think it sounds awful, nothing like the higher-powered Mustangs have sounded in previous years. It's more like the newest Eco-Boost Ford GT! I have always loved the sound of of Ford power over Chrysler and GM. I had a good teacher, my Dad was a Fairlane and Galaxie guy! I do not like the 10-speed auto feature on these new ones, either. Ford has had considerable problems with their vehicles, from clunky 4-speed to 8-speed transmissions. Theoretically, it's a good idea, but... Look a little further and you are gonna find that this "new" exhaust sound is not the sound of brute power, but more of an enhanced (simulated) roar through technology. The sound is too "open" with even the slightest tap of the gas pedal. My daughter had a really powerful (350hp) Audi SQ5 with a driver-controlled exhaust baffle that sounded exactly the same as this Mustang when activated. I had to chuckle to myself when my son-in-law bragged about it. He's obviously never been at the wheel of a DeTomaso Pantera... But I have. Fact is, with enhanced "noise" and brake-locking features for "civvies," people are more likely to race these cars on our roads. Mustangs, Challengers, Camaros, and F-150 pickup drivers are contributing an awful lot to the growing number of people killed in hi-speed related crashes, to say nothing of the innocents and kids who have been erased by reckless drivers and street racers. I'm not a troll; I love fast cars, I always have, but we need to begin to show some collective responsibility where the automobile is concerned, and so far, I see nothing that would indicate people learning a damned thing. These new features are just complicating things. Be safe.
