Awesome gaming room! I love the idea of the amiibos and the layout with the bricks and the flag. I’ve been working more on my gameroom the last couple of months and have been adding more retro games to it. Love the layout of everything. Awesome job!

Was the first SNES game on your shelf Yoshi’s Island? I know some people don’t consider it a Mario game but I love it and it is called Super Mario World 2.
@SuperMarioRetros10 ай бұрын

Awesome Room! Meant to ask for your wooden shelves, is the only thing supporting/carrying that shelf that back horizontal 1x4 (I think you have one going across per level)? Loooks clean and want to do something similar! kzbin.info/www/bejne/foKco4V8pchobLM Just in case you may not know what I'm talking about I posted a time stamp of that piece...
@SuperMarioRetros3 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for watching, I made the shelves myself and yes although that piece of wood is only added to the very top shelf and the very bottom shelf, and then I made sure it’s screwed into the stud behind the drywall

Hey thanks for watching! Unfortunately I’ve sold off parts of my collection in the past as well as some of my childhood toys. Seems to be part of the process for a lot of the gaming community, but a lot of the fun is building it back up and making new memories. Hope your able to do so as well
@wettuga27623 ай бұрын
Gameroom tours are all identical and boring... except for yours. Others buy EVERYTHING related to a console just because they used to play that console, ending up with endless walls of games they're never going to play, You ACTUALLY limit your purchases to stuff you're nostalgic for, and made it look good with the figurines spread around the room. I love a gameroom that includes nostalgic stuff BESIDES games. Suggestion: those cables behind the shelves are a fire hazard, they need urgent cable management! I used cable ducts glued behind the shelves to hide the cables, but there are too many cables and I had to sometimes glue 2 cable ducts on top of each other, so I'm thinking on completely closing the back of the IKEA shelves (which will also help on stability) and leave a hole for the cables to pass through, then use the entire back panel for some "artistic" cable management, instead of just hiding everything inside 2 drawers like it currently is 🙂
@SuperMarioRetros3 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for watching and the support, I have to be smart with my collection and that’s why I stick to certain things, but thanks for the ideas on the cable management, that’s definitely something I need to manage better
