2024 Global-X Challenge! (ONR Global)

ONR Global invites the international science and technology (S&T) community to participate in Global-X 2024 - a nine-month international science challenge worth up to $750,000. The challenge, now in its fourth iteration, aims to discover, and ultimately provide a catalyst through a research grant for subsequent development and delivery of revolutionary capability to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, the commercial marketplace and the public.
Novel ideas are sought on the following challenge areas:
- subsea object detection and identification,
- personal expeditionary power and energy, and
- high latitude high bandwidth communications.
