Hi Mariah you're doing amazing work thank you so much. I did have a question. I have 52,000 not indexed pages on my Google console. I haven't been able to go through everyone of them, 27,000 are 'Alternate page with proper canonical', 6000 'Page with redirect' and 12,000 'Not found (404)' ( these seems to be products that I have archived on my Shopify store). My question is since I don't want to delete these products from my Shopify store permanently does it affect my google ranking/SEO in anyway leaving them as is?

Google Search Console errors are tricky bc they’re not always errors. It depends on context. Sometimes they’re just saying what’s happening and it’s what you want to happen. Like a “proper canonical” - good. That’s what we want. So with this stuff, it all depends on context. Sometimes there’s nothing for you to do. Sometimes there is. Hopefully that helps!

Thanks for your video! That's useful for me! And I have a question: The Google Search Console shows "Your website rating is out of the specified range, and the value in ratingcount must be positive." I have tried to watch a lot of teaching, but I still can't solve it. What should I do?

Thanks Mariah another great video- re Google page results you ref circa position 1-10 = page 1 but now Google has rolled out scrolling is the metric still the same roughly plus does scrolling make the goal of 1-10 more or less important or no real difference? Hope that makes some sort of sense! Regards Ashley

Thank you!! Studies have found post-scrolling update that the top 10 still get the most clicks. Clicks on position 10+ after the scrolling rollout have increased slightly (like 5%) but not anything wild. Hopefully that helps!

I am binge watching your content! It's so helpful! QUESTION: Do you suggest we "request indexing" when we update SEO on a page? Or does Google automatically do that at some point?

Yayyyy, this is the best feedback ever!! I’m so glad 😊🙌🥰 yes, I totally recommend you request indexing after updating a page. Google will *likely* find it, but requesting can speed up the process. You can only request 10 pages in 24 hours tho so just keep that in mind.

I am completely new to SEO I have followed your advice and got google business, Analtics and Search Console for our website. I have added the tags and the sitemap. But I am not getting any data yet it has only been 24 hours since I set it all up is this why ?

Sometimes it can take a bit to start showing data, you don’t have enough website traffic to see anything yet, or you might have things setup improperly. It’s hard to say without seeing things.

You can only submit a set limit of separate pages each day in GSC. Waiting a day or 2 could help!

Mine stops after the ‘most popular content’ and there's no data in ‘how people find you’ or anything down from there. 😢 You’re saying 10 sites per page is considered page 1 of Google right? I have a query that says position 3 so that would make it page 1 on Google, but when I do an incognito search, I’m not seeing my url. Am I looking at this the wrong way? 👀 Also, are you still active on IG cause your last post was October 2022.
