Karma is a pop banger and similar with the hope of “evermore” and “long story short” (from evermore album). It really showcases the “good karma” is real, the compassion, the integrity, the dedication as human being. Karma makes me feel like all the pain I went through was worth it. It’s all gonna work out in the end. Moreover, Anti Hero is the best self-loathing anthem. She nailed it with the introspective and self-critical thinking. I’m sure everybody can relate to this song since the song placed #1 on Billboard Hot 100 for 8 weeks and charted for more than 50 weeks. I think for me Midnights just feels like an epilogue of sorts. A lot of the album seems like she’s getting some lingering feelings off her chest that must have ballooned up having to go back and re-record her previous albums and revisit old memories and old wounds. I believe She’ll continue exploring the sounds and storytelling elements for her up coming projects. Well, “Midnights” already placed in my Top 5 Taylor’s discography.

It’s so interesting to me how Taylor Swift is considered by the most a “Grammy darling” when homegirl has only won 12/46 nominations (26%), which is still great tho. Adele has won 16/25 (64%), Alicia Keys 15/30 (50%). Billie, Beyoncé and Gaga all in a 36% winning rate. Even Rihanna has a slightly higher winning rate. 😫 Billie is about to win her third Record of the Year when Taylor barely even gets nominated for that category. Swift has been nominated 7 times to Song of the Year and has never won. Yes she has won the AOTY three time but how is that indicative that “the Grammys always grant the awards to Taylor?” I promise this is not a hate comment I’m just so confused sometimes.

I like Taylor Swift and enjoyed her midnights album (especially the 3 am songs off the deluxe). But in my opinion, the project is pretty MID compared to her other works (Folklore, Evermore, and Red are my favs). For this reason, I would be really disappointed if she won across the board like your anticipating. Sza's album has been on repeat for me ever since it's release and would be a MUCH better pick imo. Lana Del Ray's ocean blvd is also great and an absolutely beautiful piece of work. I wouldn't be mad if Boy Genius won too. Phoebe Bridgers is such a cool unique artist and her band mates complement each other well. But really, Taylor didn't do enough for me to win these awards and it would be very suspicious of the Grammys to hand her these awards if a black woman like Sza, for example, created an album much more exciting, varied, and powerful than her. Lana and Boygenius have a shot but I REALLY hope Sza can make up for the snubs for her Ctrl album.

Taylor only has 12 grammy wins out of 44 nomination, she lost 32 nominations, which happens to be the exact # of grammys Beyonce has won 32 with 88 total nominations, many other artists also have comparable numbers of grammy wins that double or nearly triple Taylor's 12, why not have the academy start with overlooking them for consideration in favor of lesser known artists, Why is it on Taylor to have her nominations given to other artists, why not start with the biggest grammy winners, Taylor is a mediocre grammy winner compared to them

Premium. These tracks are so good that you'd literally pay money for them. The amount doesn't matter it's the fact that they are worth money that makes them premium. Downloadable, track that are fantastic. In the case cellphone towers and Wi-Fi goes out, you still want to listen to these. Playlistable-great tracks worthy of repeated listens. Listenable- These tracks make good filler. These are songs on the album that help the hits shine because it's keep with the vibe of the record without outshining the hits. Respectable-these tracks vary in listening depending on the type of listener. But they are the songs that are doing something more "artsy" and creative enough to earn your respect for trying something different, if you will. The attempt isn't to be entertaining. Skippable. Self explanatory. These tracks are not good enough to keep you interested. Laughable- songs so bad it's funny. Yono miles territory.
