2024 Grand Design RV Quartzsite Rally // Grand Design RV Gives Back! // Will We Beat Last?

🌵Stan and Rhonda from Over The Hill Adventures are catching up to their real time adventures and to the beginning of Season 7, Slow Your Roll. In this episode, Stan and Rhonda are headed to the 2024 Grand Design RV Owner's Quartzsite Rally. This is the only Grand Design Rally where owners get to try their skills at boondocking. With over 265 Grand Design RV trailers of all sizes, and over 400 participants, this may be the second largest rally next to the Grand Design RV National Owner's Rally. This year Rhonda and Stan coordinated a Go Grand event where volunteers of the Grand Design family gave back to the local community. The Go Grand event was able to donate 1,300lbs of canned food and non-perishables. Also, in cooperation with ​⁠‪@5thwheeltrip‬ E-BIKES they raffled off a Thunder 2 Foldable E-Bike and donated over $1,300 dollars to the local Quartzsite food bank. The Grand Design family was also able to spend a few hours to do some much needed work at the Quartzsite food bank. Rhonda, I can relate to the shorts struggle. We were blessed to go to Disney World in January 2020, both January and February. Both times they had record high temps. Thankfully I had put a couple pairs of shorts in the trailer, cuz it was tank top temps. Fun, but warm. We may have a different RV manufacturer, but definitely like minded in giving back, travels and Jesus!

Hey Stan, I'm retired so I have alot of time to watch videos, I can't wait to go to Quartzsite again, my wife didn't get to go last time, I stayed for 2 weeks, boondock on the hill, then at the campground by Loves, my cousin was there, that won't happen again, I wish my Dad was still around, he would have love it there, he also retired from the sheriff's depth in Riverside and him and my Mom moved to South Central Missouri and we moved here in 2001. My cousin want me come out in 2025, still working on that, but if I do, hopefully we can meet y'all, thanks for sharing your story's, it helps make the day go by faster.

Have you ever been to Bull Shoals lake or Mountain Home Arkansas, and if you do come here, let me know, we are about 50 miles north of them, I can give you some tips on where to stay.
