2024 Grocery Haul #6 - Grocery Receipt Craziness!

Welcome to the 6th Grocery Haul of 2024! It's been over a month since my last regular GROCERY HAUL! We really haven't been suffering too much with the garden and some $21 A Week Groceries! I have been using up too much evaporated milk from the pantry though! Today I go over everything that I bought and then total it all up to see how much I've been spending monthly for groceries this year so far! I will be including the $21 A Week grocery amounts in my totals for the year at the end of that challenge!
I plan on KEEPING TRACK of how much money I spend on GROCERIES for the WHOLE YEAR in 2024! It really helps me STAY ON TRACK with my budget and be mindful of what foods I'm buying. I literally cannot believe how expensive that cantaloupe was! That’s crazy! But you got a yummy summer assortment of food with the fruits and cereals and salad fixings! I always get so hungry watching your videos! Keep cool!

Most expensive cantaloupe EVER! I honestly didn't expect a 6lb melon LOL I was so yummy and refreshing in the heat today though! Salads every day! I think I'm going to make a chef salad tomorrow...

I am from UK. Our melons are per melon, regardless of size. Cantaloupe is currently £2.00 per melon. Per weight seems wild!

That would be great! It turned out to be the world's most expensive cantaloupe! lol The mini watermelons were $4.99 per melon!

How To Caramelize Onion in the slow cooker You'll Need 6 pounds yellow onions, peeled, cut in half and sliced 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 ½ teaspoons kosher salt ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or more to taste Put the sliced onions in a 5-quart (or larger) slow cooker, along with the butter, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. you can put as much onions as your crock pot/slow cooker will hold because they cook down and then divide for recipes! Cover the crockpot and cook on low overnight, or for 10-12 hours. The onions should be dark golden brown and soft. That mischarged prices happened to me in the store one day. One has to be so vigilant. I'm sure nothing was maliciously intended, but one little mistake makes a big difference in the bill.

I agree! Apparently it was a computer error in the online ordering system! I never get upset with people but it does pay to be watchful for mistakes!

Hey Jessica we have that raisin bran crunch in the states and it's not bad at all think like raisin bran mixed with granola..and I like how simple your boxes are and I'm impressed with how much your boxes are bigger and look fuller than ours and wild your just getting raisin bran crunch up there we've had it for like close to 20 years and you did good on your haul sorry I missed it I was in the ER with a seizure but I'm ok now

Watermelon in the US isn’t as good as it used to be to be. Never ripe and the ones that are have no flavor. I hope Canadian ones are better. That’s an expensive cantaloupe! 🧡💚❤️🩷💙🦋🦋🦋

Aww definitely my garden watermelons are much better but I couldn't resist the deal on a couple! I really wasn't expecting that HUGE cantaloupe lol Talk about a pricey melon!!
