Thank you. What started as an experiment with a little Raspberry Pi to make a video using my tunnel as the subject is slowly becoming an obsession.

What's that growing along the side of the tunnel? Grape vine?
@HedgewitchHoney10 ай бұрын
It is indeed a Black Hamburg grape vine. It was three times larger than it is now but it had so many grapes last summer it snapped all the wires it was growing on and collapsed on the floor. Five full barrow loads of grapes I gave away to locals to make wine. Pointless growing that many grapes, you can only eat so much grape jelly so I cut over two thirds of it back. One of the jobs before spring is to rehang it properly with heavier duty wire.

Wow that's great all those days on small amount of paraffin. How much does it cost per litre? Where do you get it?
@HedgewitchHoney10 ай бұрын
It does use very little and certainly keeps the temperature in that mini greenhouse around 5 degrees above the main tunnel. It costs £10 for 4 litres and I get mine from the local hardware shop in ther village. It's only a small heater and wouldn't stand much of a chance in a bigger area.
