Just watched both your reviews between Raptor Nxtgen and itong Hilux GRS, and I’ve decided to go with GRS. Before I’m not a fan of Toyota kasi matagtag talaga haha. But ever since nag palit ako from Pro4x na naka Jaos suspesion pa yun to FJ Cruiser lowered naman 😂 sobra panatag ako walang masabi, reliability parin talaga pipiliin ko. Like what you’ve said nga Sir Jec, suspension can be modified naman talaga. Great reviews po for both videos. Nextgen Raptor review palang napa subscribed nako 👌🏼

Some correction and tidbits lang boss: *(Sa first part ng vid): Power and torque is 224ps & 550nm respectively (NOT 204ps & 500nm na sa 2.8 Conquest variants). -Instead of using 'L/100kms' (na pang Euro at Australia), best to use at convert mo rin sa 'Km/L'. So kung 8.1L/100kms. = 12.3 km/l

actually just got mine yesterday and the drive is not like the prev versions when step on the gas pedal it gives me the power that i want and also the upgrades that i did is basically the same the only difference is my bash bar i went and put a bull bar and it looks alot more aggressive which is always a preference mine i went for an aggressive look since i have a friend that has a ford raptor which has a bullbar also and it looks phenomenal just taking pictures and stuff

Hello guys wag kayo magpapaniwala na maganda ang ride ng gr-s which was stated sa video. Driven it from manila to bicol and napagod talaga ako kasi ang tagtag ng ride medyo binabaan ko na nga ng 2psi yung tire pressure form the recommended na tire pressure sa door seal. Nung dinrive siguro ni jec sobrang baba ng psi niya kaya medyo improve ride. Pero in reality sobrang tagtag padin talaga.. bigat din ng steering wheel kung di kayo sanay dun mahihirapan kayo especially kung babae ang driver..

Comparing it to its predecessor not to any car, so yeah malaki improvement niya from sinundang model, but as mentioned sa vlog di mo siya pwede compare to a raptor, Lately lahat halos ng mga modelong sasakyan na maganda ang ride lalo versus sa toyota, but that comfort may kapalit, na other issues, yung tagtag ng sasakyan easy fix by switching to a good suspension but issues like transmission, bushings and suspension that easily worn out, electricals that comes with comfort is a head ache, Bottomline I toyota is reliable on and off road, if tagtag problema its an easy fix just improve the suspension thats it, while other car brands madami issue, na hindi easy fix.

Sales figures from CAMPI will determine if the Hilux GRS is the Ranger Raptor Killer. However so far from where I live in the PH, there are more newly released Raptors on the road than there are Hilux GRS running.

I’m not saying ranger raptor is not a good car, we all have preferences and mine is based on the charts and records of the make and model of a vehicle. What it accomplished and conquered.

Sir, I was able to solve the riding suspension of my Hilux 2019 model by installing comfort shackles and ridemax shock absorber .. before that, my family refuse to ride with me kc matagtag and ride at stiffed suspension .. please give it a try .. just sharing

si hilux hindi na kontento sa conquest nila kasi, malayong malayo sa raptor, ngayon nag GRS sila with wide fender, pero hindi parin kasing pogi ng raptor. ang GRS madami kapang e-upgrade pero hindi parin kasing pogi ng ALL STOCK raptor

Di mo tinapos, sabi nga kundi mo pa na drive di mo pwede sabihin na tulad lang yan ng previous models, and hindi yan nilagyan ng malapad na gulong at fenders, aralin mo ano ang ibig sabihin ng GR not only the abbreviation but what is GR, san ginamit sino nag engineer, akala kasi ng tao pag lumapad ang sasakyan laging “pinalapad at nilagyan lang ng flares” but hindi alam the engineering, etong hilux na to has wider axles, di yan naka spacer, yun flares naman are part of the aerodynamics, GR is design for rally and baja, GR is a team competing worldwide, and they made some of those specs available sa consumer, ayan alam mo na 🤣

I wouldn’t considered this as a ranger raptor killer the raptor has a way better suspension and better climbing terrain features than the Hilux GR sport the Hilux GR is still better in terms of price but the raptor still has a higher ground clearance than the Hilux GR sport for reliability depends on how you take care of your truck my grandpa owns a 2013 ranger wildtrak and our 2022 ranger raptor has never caused any issues so technically both trucks are reliable also the Hilux gr sport is the just the off-road version of a regular Hilux and Theye also just added more plastic to the truck

For me i’ll keep it factory kyb kung overlanding lang naman at di heavily modification, but kung mag lalagay ka ng mods weighing over 400kgs need mo na palit ng high performance suspension like bp51
