Nice review and nice car but if I lived in northwest Louisiana I would not buy a car from this dealership due to the forced add ons of almost 2000.00! Shop around. Don’t buy from this greedy dealership. Covid and chip problems are done

Honda HRV is a wonderful Vehicle took it on a test Dive buying it this Wednesday very impressed how smooth it is and ride Quality is very good . We own a 2023 Honda Pilot already .long lasting suv 🚙

I bought a 24 last august with out add ins. I paid 29,000. I had 8200 equity in my 20 fit ex. I’m in Texas. I wanted a 23 Accord EX. My insurance was going up 445. A civic insurance would be 440 more. A HRV EXL was 235 more. I bought a HRV EXL in Milano red on lower insurance alone. My fit was 330.00 a month. My HRV EXL is 342.00 a month. I got an extended warranty for 60 months up to 100,000 miles. I’m paying extra principal to get my loan paid in 36 months. Not 72. I put 2K down as well as my 8200 trade equity. Don’t pay add one or mark ups.

Wow. Great deal. Could only get hrv exl used with 6k miles for 29k. The music is best if don’t use Bluetooth. If your a big music fan.

Thanks, Tom & Carey for these KZbin reviews. We just purchased the 2nd new Honda vehicle in the past month yesterday. We purchased a 2024 Civic Sport Hatchback CVT just over a month ago. I watched your reviews on that. That was for my adult nephew. His previous car was 15yrs old. So me and his mother got that for him in emergency. So at that time while at Dealership, she wants a new vehicle. This is to keep the continuous miles off a 2007 Ridgeline 17yrs since we got in family. So looked at used but everything just as high. So last week she decided on new vehicle. I suggested HR-V so back to dealership yesterday to buy. 2024 HR-V EX-L AWD with Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic. Modern Steel Metallic with that Gray interior. The Gray is light color. I drove the HR-V 80 miles home from the dealership yesterday. Now I'm going to make a 3rd trip back to Honda Dealership for myself. This was already decided on about a year ago. I have a almost 25yr old AcuraTL sedan. So need a more reliable new vehicle. I been wanting a Ridgeline for myself for years. As said I picked out and drive sister's for all these years. So a newer Ridgeline has been on my list. But like other waiting for full redesign that didn't happen. So thought it would get 4th Gen Pilot treatment. Nope so I went with alternate choice. I decided I would get 2023-2025 Pilot Elite. Now it would be 2025 model. I looked at Touring when at Dealership when getting Civic. I looked at Pilot Black Edition yesterday. Modern Steel like the HR-V.

The British version is called the ZR-V (even though it is identical to your HR-V but we have a smaller HR-V over here!) and its a much more premium vehicle over here. 2.0l Hybrid engine with 181ps and over 300nm of torque. 0-60 @7.2 secs, a Full opening panoramic sunroof, electric folding mirrors, power drivers seat with memory a well as powered passenger seat, a gesture controlled power boot with walk away closing, a 12 speaker Bose system with a subwoofer, heated steering wheel as well as heated front and back seats. 6' HUD, climate vents in the back with USBs.

Thank you for the good review. As to whether Honda should create another trim with more features, the European version of the HR-V (called the HR-Z) shows what is possible. The HR-Z has available features such as 360º cameras, 12V serving front passengers, heated steering wheel, driver's seat memory, enhanced rear seat amenities (soft touch materials on doors, A/C vents, USB ports, armrest with cup holders), power passenger seat, and more. Some of those things would be nice to have here in the USA too! I vote for another trim.

Put a hybrid powertrain in it and I would consider it. Great review as always Tom. An option to consider if you don’t need the AWD or the higher seating position is a Civic hatch. Close to the same amount of utility, a better driving experience, and way better MPG on the highway. Plus I’m seeing many Honda dealers, at least here in Iowa, discounting prices on Civics; something you will not see with a HRV or CRV.

I just bought the base model in arctic white last Saturday. Mine has no signal lights on the side mirrors but that's OK with me. The less electrical gadgets the better.

I love the car but hate it don't have center console in the back to hold cups, no usb in the back and in the front the cupholders is in front of the gear shift

Great review, thank you! IMO Honda should also have put a 12v adapter in the console, not just USB. I drove this as a rental and I like the Porsche Macan-like style, and it was a pleasant driver, but the driver side window had a defect in that the auto feature closed the window within three inches from the top, then rolled down. Glad not to have that 1.5l turbo! I consider the Mazda CX-5 a nicer, reliable vehicle with standard AWD for a lower price.

Thanks for that information we just picked up 2024 HR-V EX-L yesterday. I drove it 80 miles home. Definitely not what I use to acceleration from a stop merging. But ride to me pretty good. I helped my nephew buy a 2024 Civic Sport Hatchback over a month ago. So I did legwork on researching the vehicle. That has the paddle shifters on steering wheel.

I really would like that addendum sticker to go away. I don't want equipment installed on my new vehicle I never requested. I don't mind paying full MSRP but I will only buy from companies that respect my buying process. There are some dealership that still put idiotic pin stripes on a car to markup the price. This practice feels desperate and speaks to the ethics of the dealer network. Imagine going to a nice restaurant and ordering a meal to have the waiter tell you he/she added 2-3 items you never expressed interest in but there they are on your plate and the expectation is you must pay for them. Adding insult to injury, when the bill comes forward a processing/handling + advertising fee is added to the bill. Would you want to tip the establishment for delivering a top-drawer experience?

I want this so bad! I know its not fast, or even quick, no rear vents, no turbo, not economical in fuel, without lumbar cusions, very uncomfortable. But, there's remedies abound, and its a Freaking Honda! That should translate to reliability!

what did you mean by the price being $32,005??, I paused the video at the 5:31 mark and it clearly says on the sticker price $30,200. Dude tjhat's a $1805 mistake!!! Learn to be careful on your videos and not rush them, learn to edit your videos if you make any mistakes if not you lose your audience, likes, subscribers, and so on
