Just put the same setup on my 2023 KTM 500, so much better. Install wasn't the best but with the help of some videos here on YT helped out a ton.

I'm a bit happy to hear that install mishaps don't only happen to me. lol The whole setup looks aces. 👍

Haha. Trust me, I could make hours of content about my screwups.

Appreciate the brp comments regarding vibrations. Mako 360 "maybe" better at reducing vibes from what I read. Taco Moto mentioned he uses a Mako on his bike fwiw. Expensive item to buy and later not be impressed. Also, at some point you installed the 3gal tank but I could not find your thoughts about it. In one vid you mentioned getting ~50miles before low fuel light goes on. What about with 3 gal tank? Just bought a 2024 500excf and the money flowing out of my arse is just beginning...

@ridemfast7625 I have looked at the Mako, and I should have probably gone that route to boot. However, I am ok with the setup I am currently running. I did install the anti-vibration inserts in the bar ends. It helps a little, but not a game changer by any means. I am getting about 100 miles now before the low light comes on. If Tacomoto ever releases his new fuel pump that sits at the bottom of the tank, I will get a lot more miles. I like the tank. It's not bulky, and it fits my style of riding. I love this bike, with the few warts it might have and I would buy it again 100%! Lol.. yes, the after-market game is expensive, but fun! Thanks for watching!

@@DesertVetRider Ordered the Acerbis 3gal - thanks! A guy zip tied 1 lb diving weights to each side of his bars and said it reduced vibrations a lot. Tempting when that costs $20 and a Mako is $500. lol

@ridemfast7625 Yeah, I hear you! For me, the vibes aren't that bad. However, I don't spend a whole lot of time riding long distances on the street. The performance of these bikes is unmatched on the trails in their category, and that's where I want my performance targeted. If I were going to be spending more time on the road than the dirt, I would venture to another bike.

Love what you do man and thank you for your service. What would you recommend be the first mods for one of these gals? I'm hoping to pick one up next month.

Thank you! I would say ditching the stock dinosaur tail light. Go with a Tidy Tail from Taco Moto or something similar. Those stock tail lights will literally rattle and fall off without even dropping the bike. Also, a new seat. The stock seat is very hard and not comfortable at all. Besides more aggressive dirt tires, the rest of it is nice to have. You will love the bike.

Hey dude! I’m considering this one as well, is it a difference you can actually feel?, Because it’s kinda shaky on the hands on tarmac 😂

@MalakasOnBikes There are definitely some vibes on the street. There are things you can do to mitigate it, but it will never be as smooth as some others out there. With that being said, it's an AWESOME bike for connecting trails. It's basically a dirtbike with lights. I would buy it again all day.

@ I’ll consider it, it’s a big chunk of change over here in Europe, I’d like to test ride it before hand, got some friends that have them on their KTM’s.
