Great comparison video, it definitely helped a little to choose which to lean towards. How’s Hyundai’s reliability when it comes to their turbo?.. did you feel the Sonata’s 190hp is more than enough?

Hyundai backs their vehicles with a strong warranty. I had an Elantra GT Hatchback (they discontinued they 😔) I let it go over 100k and the only problem I had was the panel moonroof shade motor went out. The turbocharge is not the only thing that is different when going N-line as I stated on the review but the power for the sel is enough. Because the pricing is so close I would suggest the N-line so you don’t have to add a convenience package but if you need awd the sel is still an awesome choice and you don’t have to worry about a turbo.

Thank you for the great reply bud. I didn’t even pay attention that the N-Line is only offered as a FWD… We live in Canada and AWD is a convenience 😅 possibly trading in this weekend and you sir have helped lots 👌

Forgot to ask you. Did you find much difference in the front seat comfort for a long trip & interior noise level @ highway speeds ? I'm in Canada so price difference between them is $6000 as our Sonata only comes with Pano roof , leather Cooled ,heated & power seats both sides but the basic instrument cluster w/o Navi & tire repair kit : ( ! Elantra has standard Navi & a donut spare tire. Hyundai sure equips our cars oddly.

Both are close to comfort but exterior noise is a lot more in the Elantra. The Elantra feels a little more tight for the front because of the driver focus setup which the Sonata feels more wider and open.
