2024: DELUSION

Very disappointing project and terrible communication. MAD, as an org, had some really shinning highs. It was even an inspiration for some korean teams during the senna-wukong meta. Had some great players with great personalities whose name are strongly tied with the org, such as Shadow, Carzzy, Kaiser, Armut, Mac and of course Elyoya. There always was a strong spanish attachment in the communication (the worlds jerseys reveal videos are good examples), which was great: MAD Lions was a strong european team with a spanish flavour. I could relate to that and I wanted to support the team at international events. This video shows that this era is gone. The message is that you have now to be spanish to be part of that team (in the last segment, Fresskowy demonstrates that he is spanish enough). Even though I love Spain (vine 7 veces a España y tengo un grupo de amigos en Andalucia), as a non-spanish LEC fan, I feel excluded. Now I just want a true European team to represent LEC in international events.

No has entendido nada,si tu te sientes excluido porque sean 4 españoles es tu problema. Han habido equipos con una nacionalidad predominante y nadie ha dicho nada. Despues, presentan los jugadores, y en la ultima parte, Fresskowy tiene que demonstrar que es bastante español también. La com es limpida: MAD es un equipo español, de españoles, para los españoles. Si hay tensiones con la comunidad internacional, es una lastima, y este tipo de comunicacion no va a mejorar las cosas...

@@blairox6031 Creo que hacer como que las raíces de cada uno no existen y que parezca todo homogéneo cuando una cosa bonita de Europa es precisamente que hay varias culturas es no entender el potencial de la liga. Incluso en España (en LVP Superliga) tenemos clubes de distintas comunidades autónomas que tienen su propia cultura interna y lejos de sentirnos excluidos, lo que podemos hacer es sentir que es una buena oportunidad para acercarnos a esa cultura. ¿O acercarte a España porque te guste MAD Lions KOI no es una posibilidad? No se excluye a nadie, pero a ver si ahora un equipo no va a poder estar orgulloso del linaje del país al que representa. Y te lo dice una persona que no es española ni siente especialmente la patria.

I see many foreing people insulting the new team and i think thats sad. If it was a team with chances of doing something (and this team has at least the beneffit of doubt) built from people of your country you would be thrilled. On the other hand those not Spanish people that stay on the ship and are puting positive comments, welcome aboard guys. What we, the true spanish fans, want above all is this team to grow and succeed. Ibai gives us an incredible oportunity in esporst. Its an enormus influencer, with money, backup and comercial arrangements, but on top of that, is a person that really loves competitive lol and isnt in this for buissness, but for winning. It is hard, almost imposible, but i think his presence here, with years and effort, might be the only chance of europe of building a team that is able to reach korea and china. What i said. they fused with movistar riders and koi, its not that they fired them, new management came in and wanted a change. Elyoya chose to stay there because he trusts the proyect, he´s been all year talking about playing with supa, alvaro, and melzhet. But it was the new management who wanted to take a risk.
