Oh Julie, this video has me feeling... IT. I'm right there with you as far as your house being a remodeling project... mine is going on 17 years. You are so right, this year has been a black hole, nearly half way through April already... time with your kids is so precious and it does fly by. Someday your kids will look back and see how hard you've worked to try and make the best life you could for them. I'm so sorry to hear about your accident, being injured by no fault of your own, and then having to fight with your insurance company sounds like the stuff of nightmares. I'm sorry you're feeling this way, your content is so good. Some of your DIY's are the best out there, you sooooo deserve so much more traffic. As long as you're putting out content, I'll be here to watch it, like it, comment.. and hopefully your traffic with pick back up. 💗

Boy, do I ever relate to your struggles. I feel like the last 7 years my life has just been project jumping. Collecting and gathering with the best of creative intentions but not finishing nothing and then our home and garage looks like our very own flea market. Overwhelming. Where to start… and then wondering. Will I ever finish this house an live long enough to enjoy it?? I’m 54. My baby is 19 and the other 3 gone. I feel you Julie. I will continue to watch in hopes that we can find a solution for the madness behind the DIY world! ❤

Felt this video for sure! I’ve gone back and forth so many times on just scrapping the blog and channel. Ultimately it does bring me joy and enough income for it to be worth it. But I definitely don’t let it take away from my family time or mental health any more. As you well know you can hustle and sacrifice and then one algorithm changes and it all goes away. I'm so sorry about that Google update. It's really scary and hard and unstable right now in the blogging world. I hope Google chills out soon! People who have great content blogs have had their traffic ripped from them that should not have had it taken away. None spammy sites! As a blogger, I feel you here.

I'm so sorry to hear of all your troubles, but I have noticed, it seems like everybody is being attacked. You try to get jobs around the house done and BANG, you all get sick, or like in your case a car wreck, or death in the family. I do feel your anguish and I will pray for you and your sweet family. It's true, so many people are struggling right now! And with far worse things than us, also. We've been buckled down for years and so the rising prices haven't affected us nearly as much as others. But I think right now we're all having to be super creative! I'm happy to have the help, just having someone who knows what they're doing talk it through was helpful!

I feel you about the questioning and evaluating investment of time, money, life, and relationships...That's something I've been hit with as well, and it is not easy. I kept yhinking i was going to succeed and it never happened so i jyst stopped doing my channel. Its like only one in a million serm to hit big. ❤ To u and your decisions.
