The only fallback of classic legends is that their after sales service, if they improve on the dealerships and service centers than it will rule the market. Now that they have also launched the legendary BSA, they MUST work on after sales. Jawa Yezdi BSA will rule the market.

Talking about dealership and reach, how about the fact that there's not a single Jawa Yezdi Dealership in the entire state of Arunachal Pradesh, yes, not even at the Capital city of Itanagar. For reference, we do have all the major Car and Motorcycle showrooms here like RE, Yamaha, Honda, TVS, Bajaj, Hero, Maruti, Mahindra, Tata, Kia, Hyundai, MG, Renault, Nissan etc. A popular Jawa missing out on the list isn't a mere coincidence but a marketing strategy blunder. Like if you're an Arunachali and wishes to buy a Jawa 42 fj 350, you've to travel all the way to another state of Assam. And yes, Harleys, Aprilias, Ducatis aren't also at Itanagar but then they're completely different segment. Honda is also committing this same blunder by restricting the sales of the much admired CB 350 and Highness series by making them available at Honda BigWing exclusively and thus depriving lakhs of potential customers from smaller towns. But at least, Honda is admitting that it's a deliberate marketing strategy of providing premium tag to the 350 lineups albeit at the cost of low sale figures. Even though Jawa makes motorcycles 5x more beautiful and better than RE, the only reason they'll never get even anywhere close to RE sales is their accessibility, reliability and marketing. Called Jawa India and submitted my feedback this morning. The call is all theirs. - coming from a sensible Jawa fan (not clueless Fanboy).

Look wise, I prefer the old Jawa 42's rounded tank, colors, and decals. The colors & decals were some of the best, especially celestial copper! I don't like the dual tones on the FJ. Upswept pipes is also uncomfrotable for passengers and makes mounting saddlebags / luggage difficult. Performance wise it's nice to see Jawa making constant improvements, tuning, and refinement, LED headlamps, oyster seat, fatter tires look great. At this point Honda Rebel 300 would not succeed in India. My big wish from Jawa is to have a 500-650cc segment bike, then Jawa will honestly beat RE.

Rear break fluid is at very wrong place ... engine heating leads to decrease viscosity of break fluid leading to break failure especially in hilly areas . Same problem is with the RE thunder bird 350 .

It is very good looking no doubt, ride it sensibly and not like a chappri. Get it serviced proper and it’ll be great! I’ve seen the service centers and they’re top quality ones on par with the BMW showroom ones. I don’t understand why people keep crying about service. They might be more expensive than RE but the product is also more expensive

Very good upgrades, will help the 42 FJ sell in good numbers. However what it requires is a good navigation system, a rear mono shock and a USB charger to truly make this one a winner!

it will not succed coz at that price u have speed400/ maverik and all RE bikes that are solidly placed , even honda also is there , they should have done it 2lakh on road which they cannot due to high cost of liquid cooled engine, if you spend 20k more you can get guerilla or even base harley , now bajaj ns400 Kind of pricing would have really helped this for sure❤

Maine test drive liya hu. Maine 100km/hr tak lekar gaya aur mujhe zero vibration laga. Lekin mere haat dukhe chalane k badh kyuki mai abhi shine chalata hu tho mujhe issi ki aadat hai directly heavy bike chalaya ko haat dukhe.
