Honda went for a bigger bike so naturally heavier, that has it's pros and cons. A bike is not measured in just acceleration numbers. Also the CBR has more torque so in real world performance it performs just fine thanks to torque and also is less less affected by a heavy rider than a smaller lighter bike.
