2024 Tiger Claw Tournament Announcement
Warm congratulations to this year’s 2024 Tiger Claw Elite tournament winners!
On May 4th and 5th of 2024, the San Jose McEnery Convention Center hosted the 2024 Tiger Claw Elite tournament, drawing competitors from 40 U.S. states, Canada, Mexico and China.
More than 70 students from Kung Fu Dragon USA participated in this 2 day competition, showcasing their skills, determination, and passion. With enthusiastic support from their teammates, families, and friends, KFD USA students excelled, earning 17 Overall Grand Champion trophies, 163 gold medals, 68 silver medals, and 25 bronze medals. Which includes Team A, Team B, and the Youth Team each earned gold medals. KFD USA’s own Shifu Tianci Yu received the 12th annual WildAid Championship title for his impressive performance.
By coincidence, the Tiger Claw Elite tournament this year took place on May 4th. To celebrate the “Star Wars, may the Force be with you” theme, the tournament organizers introduced their first LED Saber competition, highlighting the fusion of Chinese and Western martial arts with cinematic elements. KFD USA student, Carter Cho, won this year’s Tiger Claw “May the Fourth” LED Saber Championship title.
