I love my 2011 Kia Carnival. 93000 KM, relatively reliable. I use it for long drives atleast once a week, hauling cargo/ family members. Thinking of adding sound deadening in the hood, door panels, dashboard, and wheel wells to decrease road noise. Power is pretty good, keeps up with Fortuners/ Hilux/ Ranger etc. but a Speedworks Engineering tune would really wake it up 👀

I drive a 2011 Kia Carnival, tried the 2023 recently, the difference in NVH is night and day. The new one feels like a limousine in terms of quietness.

If I'm given a chance to choose between a minivan and an SUV, I would go for a minivan 9 times out of 10 (whether as a passenger or a driver). The only time I would go for an SUV is if there is a need for me to drive off road.

I haven’t met anyone who has a “need” to drive off road. Have you?

The flexibility of a mini-van, I'd say!

I'd pick either this or the Custin over the Zenix. It's like owning a van you see in K-dramas.
@timetraveler7990Ай бұрын
Custin and Xenix are smaller. Carnival is a top of the line, flagship, luxury van. Carnival is way more expensive too

It's just the body style/classification that makes it expensive in the Philippines. That should be change.

Hi Autoindustriya team and viewers, planning to get a car so what will be the advantage or disadvantage from this type of vehicle than SUV or VAN? I mean, how can I consider this type of vehicle for a family and daily/business vehicle. Thank you!
@autoindustriyaАй бұрын
As a family vehicle, itll work well. As a business vehicle, we're not so sure. It depends on what your business is and how much weight you want to carry around or deliver. If its lightweight stuff, this will do. But for heavier or smellier stuff, no. A more dedicated vehicle is needed for that.

Minivans like the Carnival has better handling, more comfort, smoother driving than both SUVs and Vans. They are lower also so they're better for loading and unloading lots of stuff. Vans have more space but less comfort/ride quality than minivans. SUVs are more capable on rough road, more attractive than minivans. But has the least space.

a bit downgrade lang sa headlight. ph spec gets the reflector type led headlights instead of the projector type ones. u can see the bulb type turn signals of the new one. still prefer the pre facelift headlights
@timetraveler7990Ай бұрын
No mention of it trying to look like a crossover? 😅 (That's what everybody is saying about the new Carnival)

for 3.3m? might as well get the GAC M8 a more premium minivan and better tech. these traditional brands are getting ridiculous with their pricing.

Kia should not let this model be used for Funeral Parlour. I will not buy this model if I see one being used in the Funeral Parlour. Even if it is being sold cheap. Very discouraging.
@alp0278Ай бұрын
most funeral parlor will not spend 3m plus for their funeral service so i think its ok.
