The Kia Sonnet is Kia's latest subcompact crossover. It will replace the Stonic in their local lineup. With pricing that starts at 770,000 pesos, it should compete directly with the Toyota Raize. After more than 2decades Kia Philippines finally has a sales volume seller in its hands. It will give the Chinese brands invaders a run for its money and a head on collision with the Toyota's best small SUV the RAIZE. Specs to specs Kia is the better deal and the EX variant is the way to go at only 978k with 30k discount more. I'm going to get one soon. Nice review Jay.

For a lot of people (including me) this is all the car we need. 1.5l engine is definitely welcome vs lower displacements/cylinders of others in it's price range. 6-spd manual sounds like it'll be a hoot to drive. My 2 wishes: a manual in SX trim, then some $$$ to be able to buy one.

Hindi standard on all variants ang ESC at Hill-start assist, sa top of the line lang. Most cars sa ngayon standard ang ganung safety features.
