Re-useable liner is fantastic idea
@AlyMikos8 ай бұрын
Thank you for the comment. ☀️ The reusable liner is really handy. It helps us save money and reduces waste, plus it reminds us to rinse things beforehand, which is better for recycling. It's a simple step that makes a big difference. Hope you have a wonderful day. 😁👍

I chuckled when I saw that your coffee/tea station is readily accessible up on the counter, but your husband has to bend down to the floor for a cup. That would not fly in our kitchen. Maybe it will keep him limber as he ages. 😊

LOL. I never thought about it from that point of view but good point! Luckily, he’s never acknowledged that minor detail - inequality if you will - regarding how I organized the kitchen spaces. 😊 Thank you for being her and sharing that reaction with me. Hope you are having a pleasant weekend morning. ☀️👍

Your lazy suzan should only have items on it that you actively use. Why do you have a million spatulas and whisks on it? I would put one basket and put all the daily utensils on it, as well as using the rest of the space for condiments I use all the time. Feels like you have organised according to all your stuff rather than space and efficacy. I am a mess in my house btw so I am far from being a hands on successful organiser, these are just my observations after having watched so many of videos like yours. You other ideas are spot on and many thanks for taking the time to make these useful videos. 🙏♥

Thank you for the thoughtful comment. 😀 I agree that my organizational interests are often to accommodate my hoarding tendencies. ☺️ I’ve been in a spring cleaning mode lately and recognize that any organizational system has to be maintained and “pruned” occasionally. So I will be checking out that collection to see if any tools or utensils can be eliminated. As for all of them being housed on the lazy susan, I find that I prefer to keep everything of something in one spot, rather than multiple locations for most things. Plus we don’t have many condiments we use that can sit on the counter bc of Las Vegas heat. Nevertheless I really appreciate the comment and it helped spur me into a spring cleaning kick so thank you and have a great day.

@@StrategicallyHelpful I stress that it was just an observation based on the general advice we see from organisation gurus. I would pick one whisk, one/two wooden spoon etc and bunch them into one basket for eg and put the rest away for when I want to replace one or if I need more. In any case not a big deal, I have just discovered your channel and find your content excellent. Thanks for taking the time to respond, ♥

These were some great ideas, thank you. I also wanted to mention that the words on the screen are very distracting, especially the purple that bounces from word to word. I'm sure anyone who needs it can turn on the close captioning, and will be able to follow along without having each word highlighted as you say it. It really took away from what you were showing and was a visual nuisance. Other than that, great video and useful tips.

Thank you for your comment and insight! I'm still relatively new to KZbin, and have been reliant on guidance from other KZbin creators on the ‘MUSTs’ of videos like those on screen captions. I’ve been polling people in my real world circles on this very topic (as I’m also not much of a fan - I’m very distracted by them ☺️) and while opinions vary, your feedback helps me steer in the right direction. 🙏 I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Since you liked this video, keep an eye out for my upcoming one where I'm giving a tour of my closet and reviewing my IKEA Pax Closet makeover after a year. It's set to drop this summer!👍 Hope you’re having a pleasant weekend. ☀️
