That was an incredible performance from Gannon on these first 2 rounds!!! Not only did they make the course harder, but he broke the record on the course despite that, and then proved it with a second consecutive 12-under round, EVEN with bogey! Just outstanding!

Thanks for covering this team! Just want to give some feedback: Chris and Derek - Love your clear diction, and little snippets of info about the course. To be brutally honest, it feels like you guys don't have any energy. Even right at the start of the video, introducing the event, when you're supposed to have the highest energy to get people buzzing about watching the competition, It never gets above a 5 or 6/10 in excitement or energy (imo). As another example, at 18:45 (Isaac's birdie put on hole 15) was a big moment to get excited about, but derek seemed to ignore it to continue his thought about volunteers coming from ages away to help make the event happen. While that is a great point to make, you need to be able to interrupt the thought, get excited about the epic shot that just happened, and then return to what you were saying. To delay the reaction, even for only 5 or 10 seconds, takes away the WOW factor of the moment, and contributes to the low-energy feel. EDIT: Just got to 30:40 (Nick's overturned bounce-back in-bounds on hole 18). This is an example of exactly how to do it, I think! I felt the tension of the missed shot, then the relief and higher energy when it bounced back in. Really good! Another bit of feedback (this one's REALLY tiny and nitpicky): I like the idea of the Gatekeeper transition graphic and clicky sound effect into the "whoosh", but the clicking doesn't line up well with the "unpacking" graphic. The idea is great if done well, but makes the videos feel a bit amateur when done poorly. If you can add more clicks that align better with the graphic, I can see the transitions being really freaking good! Please take this criticism from a constructive perspective - Not trying to bring you guys down, just trying to provide something for you to check on and the rationale for my comments. Cheers!

Used to be the opening DGPT event of the season but now it’s just an A-Tier
@natebell47644 ай бұрын
I think round one they said it's been up and down the board as far as tiers. I think the pro tour just switches things up every now and then. The prior few years it was an elite series first stop second stop and I think a major but I could be wrong about that. When it does play early in the year it's kind of windy mess.
@murphyd82054 ай бұрын
@@natebell4764lol it has definitely never been a major, it was just an A tier then a pro tour for a few years now back to A tier

It's cool that you show everyone's scores all the time, but why are the rankings only for the card? It'd be helpful to see where they are in the tournament. If that's too much to keep track of, just leave them off - it definitely gives the impression that they're tournament rankings (since viewers can put four numbers in order)

Blame the right person, blame the marketing team. The graphic designer just creates what he/she is told, and nothing is approved unless marketing approves it.

@@erickyoung8331 i blame innova for you know screwing Climo over his whole career. won't find any in my bag. dave at innova probably had some a hole son who thought he could draw so he gave him the job. innova is last weeks garbage guys i'd rather get my discs from europe or other US guys. I like the bar versions of them that play during the round, but the full screen ones are really hard to watch. They could theoretically have the same bar graphics during the full ad ones, with more interesting stuff to fill the screen. Flight numbers and paths, maybe different Innova players.

What excuses? We mention his putting stroke was off, and stress the importance of taking your time, especially because this is an unpracticed green.
