Very fair review, Kevin. Haven’t quite gotten to the end, but this is the type of vehicle one should lease. Personally, I would buy the old school GX 460, and keep it. I still might do that in a few years.

Loved the GX460! So good

It is odd to me how unmeasured opinions can be when they get very biased towards nostalgia. I’ve riden in this vehicle for a long roadtrip, it was great, I own a 2017 and a 2021 x3 and x5 45e , the materials felt comparable. 😊

I may do this too if I require to move on from my current car, but I don't want to pay the 550's price. I'm also waiting to see how the 550 fairs in terms of cost of ownership and reliability. To my knowledge, nothing mechanical-related has been reported on the Club Lexus forums. Looks like the most reported issue is "hood flex".

No v8, no kdss, engine has good power but it is rough and it has horrible mpg in everyday driving and smaller tank give it crappy range (check the owners forums) plasticky interior and cheap looking screen. Looks good on the outside but that’s it. More Toyota than Lexus.

That’s it in a nutshell ^^……it’s a Toyota, no longer has Lexus luxury…….

I drove in this for a roadtrip, and drive late model a new model BMWs as my vehicles, the materials in this and the engine seem lovely to me. I think this your opinions not fact, to each their own. 😊

@@LafemmebearMusic of course it’s my opinion, and I have had several Lexus models but they are transitioning into something I don’t necessarily like. Sometimes newer isn’t always better.

Nice! I know it has its critics, but I think the new GX looks good. Video just started. I await your insights!

Really? I just assumed car reviewers were glazing the GX glad to know some are being a bit more critical when needed

Huh, power's kinda lackluster and the fuel economy is still meh. I think the 2025 Infiniti QX80 looks like a better package.

@MeynMotorGroup Ah, ok. I get confused with Lexus' numbering, lol. Thanks for the clarification.

@@ssjMaximum22Goku there’s really only 2 competitors to the GX I can think of the LR Defender and new Ineos Grenadier can’t think of any other luxury off roaders
@paulbugoni28464 сағат бұрын
The base QX80 awd is within $4k of the top trim GX550; there is nearly a $10k difference between the entry level QX80 and the LX600. Either way these cars aren’t cheap, and the Toyota LC is up there also.
